Nah it was a relatively recent rental that someone managed to put on my account...but yeah it's a bit desperate to send the debt collectors out for $50.

Haha.. Don't worry tab.. I had debt collectors chasing me for an unpaid Optus bill.. Cancelled my account with Optus, paid the amount they told me over the phone.. Missed a $2 paper invoice fee because they still sent me a bill but I had moved house..

So add on the late payment fee of $7 it became $9 I owed Optus.. When they got a debt collection company involved they stung me another $35..

But yeah still a ridiculous amount of money for debt collectors. :-P

Sports bet are still chasing me for the $240 bet I did with the app last feb. at one stage a guy was messaging me saying if I don't pay the $50 owing then debt collectors will be called. It was suppose to be a $20 multibet but I accidentally boxed it and realized after submitting as the race was about to start. I only had $90 in the account but he said I apparently signed up for loans with them which is if you don't have enough them they make up the remainder. Basically told him to get f*cked and it was a mistake. After sh*tload of emails be basically said 'well give you $30 credit if the payments made and if you want your account reactivated' told him to shove it and said why are you giving me $30 credit if I owe you? Just keep it and ill pay $20' he said no. Haven't heard from them since, but every Monday morning at 6 am I get an online statement from them. I just delete it
