Yep, that 'to the new members thread' issue was the "getNewComment" part of a URL incorrectly re-routing (as mentioned above). It's fixed in this update.

 

The 'saving text from a previously written post' is actually the forum trying to do a smart thing and cache the data you may have typed in the event your browser crashes or a submit fails or you accidentally close a tab/window. Sometimes this system isn't perfect (on all forum software that tries to do this) but it has more positives than negatives, as the only negative is "select all and delete" if it's not something you want in the edit box.

Make the change, give it a month to get used to it and if it sucks, change it back.

In other news, just rode the bike to the pub. I forgot that I wasn't lifting weights and rode that farker flat stick both ways.
