yeah... they suck. but are much more suited to the xr6t than the manual. :) I have both; I can tell.

Yeah mines starting to slip in various places.

I reckon I gave the valve body a bit too much pressure and farked some seals and maybe a solenoid or two is on the way out.

The trans has been flogged it's entire life, it was a nsw police car from new.

Depends on driving style. At the drag strip, ZF 6 speed for sure. All other times manual rules.....

indeed. straight lines (which is what the xr6t is best at), most definitely the ZF 6spd... other tracks or hills then the manual is far superior :spoton:

Mines ZF 6 speed auto but I prefer manual mode in the twisty bits.  I had it 3rd gear most of the time in the Adelaide Hills.  Occasionally 2nd on U bends going up and 4th when we had a relatively straight bits.

I'd prolly have a manual except most of my driving is city peak hour and auto is more relaxing for that and the Misses needs to drive it occasionally and she only drives autos.  So ZF 6 speed is a good compromise for me

My daily is auto.  But for shear driving pleasure you can't beat the manual

How can you clutch kick to start a drift in an auto.

A manual is always in the correct gear because you select it.
