Or what I did, followed instructions but instead of puting a filter on, I put duck tape and pierced it with a knife, makes a nise tuf tuf tufsh noise, sounds really sweet, mate reckons it sounds like a real proper expensive bov! haha

So you are running a hole in duct tape, instead of a pod filter on your car? If that's the case then the car can easily suck in sand and dirt into the turbo/engine. I wouldn't recommend doing that. Sorry if I misunderstood what you meant :)

Don't think so, its a one way valve. I had a stopper on mine with a hole in it and no drama's, stuff can't get sucked in.

Think of a garden hose, can it suck stuff in?

I think you should put your bong on the bench and slowly step away from it.

I never picked up a bong more than once, but waited until I was 23 to give up the ciggies. Now, 18 months later I'm 14kg heavier! lol

the stock bov does actually let air flow both ways ,so unfilted air is not a good idea

it's to do with off throttle response it lets the motor suck a little air back through the bov at just on and off throttle

I messed around with my ute a little this arvo and tryed both your mods...decided to go with the vented one for now. but I have just blocked off the intake side and left the hose that comes off the bov with nothing els. is it really worth putting a filter on the end???
