Hey guys, today I went to open the bonnet and the latch just flaps foward... There is no tension in it at all. I took it off and the cable is still connected to the actual latch, I'll get some pics up tomorrow and hope one of you guys can tell me if its how its meant to be.

In the mean time is there any other way of opening the bonnet???

Cheers Mike...

Grab the nipple on the end of the cable with a pair of pliers and pull hard!

Mike use the pliers like Barry said. You will have it open in no time.

A common problem on the early T's mate. I think there is a new version of the bonnet release that is stronger.
