I dunno though, with the distnace and all,there is some hills too...staying off boost might be harder than I think... but yeah should be alright. Goodnight clutch though afterwards haha!

You dont have to stay completely of boost, you couldnt anyway even if you tried, you are just menat to nana it, ask Tab to drive it for you, that will work.

you say a different tuner is doing this for you , I think unless rdp are willing to give them some info on your current tune the new shop will be starting from scratch and have to do a full custom tune ,

somebody tell me if I'm wrong

Really?? I thought they could just access the tunes from the tuner box with their gear, like normal? That would be a pain though :S Pay another 800 bucks for 3 tunes again... that would hurt... Might ahve to give them a call.

they can use the same box just won't be able to access the tunes in it talk to rdp they may be willing to sort something for you maybe

speaking of over boosting how much can a standard xr6 turbo engine handle? my ute is running 8 low and 16 high

generally from my experience with a gutted cat on the same tune, the overboost didn;t occur until over 4000rpm, so its pretty easy to stay away from it even with some hills thrown in, just drop it back a gear so the boost doesn't load up.

phat6 - if your car is overboosting to 16psi, then you need to get it tuned mate, this will be causing the engine to lean out, and running your car hard like this is gonna eventually do damage
