But that's not much good when you are left in the dust by something that barely makes a noise. You see so many noisy V8 that make more DB than HP and look stupid at WOT cause the movement to noise ratio is way out of wack.A turbo just goes whosh and its off. The thing we love about these cars most is the POTENTIAL that can be had. Also not meaning to offend you or anyone here, but jump into a stock BF MK2 ZF6 as they are streaks ahead of the BA1 4spd T's IMHO...T Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/38279-beat-an-xr6t-auto-very-easily/page/4/#findComment-732595 Share on other sites

Noise and vibration often equates to perceived pace. The Ts are so smooth and efortless in their execution, they just don't feel a quick as they are. My tip is to take a look at speedo every now and then. The time it takes to get to insane speeds (in private roads) is astonishing. I run it only on 98 octane, bought a k&n panel filter first day, maybe its just me getting used to driving auto. anyway what should a stock xr6t make at the wheels because the only way to check if its the car or my imagination would be to put it on a dyno right. also does the flashtune make fuel economy better or worse Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/38279-beat-an-xr6t-auto-very-easily/page/4/#findComment-732704 Share on other sites

He dosnt agree though..... Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/38279-beat-an-xr6t-auto-very-easily/page/4/#findComment-732731 Share on other sites
