And also a thank you to Kaine for your previous post on how to install this snorkel. Your measurements were spot on. Kains post: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...mp;#entry329736But yeah its a fairly simple job, I marked it out, cut it out with a jig saw, then cleaned up the edges with my dremel and trimmed it to the exact size, made some curves on the corners so there is no gaps. Im not sure why people have such a hassle getting the 3rd air box bolt in? I just fitted the snorkel 1st, fitted the airbox into place, then bent the snorkel upwards and just fitted the bolt through the hole that I had cut out.... Simple. Then I just pushed the snorkel into place and squeezed it into the hole. Im sure you all know what it looks like, but heres some pics. Note how the snorkel attaches over the top of the ribs to hold it in place. All thanks to the measurements being exactly correct to allow for perfect fitment. Edited 05/09/07 11:01 AM by hanra
