April 22, 200719 yr #1 hi guys theres this vl I'll love to run in my area as I think its my only challange iv'e accually to date, ive spoken to this guy a couple days ago asked him what it runs he said 10.3 all day with slicks, yes I know vl's are V fast but with only 255kwrw at the wheels.. also he has the dyno in his back seat lol.. his got stickers BRESCIANI RACING all over the car and its a sky blue colour.can he run this time????also ive been on the vl forum and they quote times with that power 11. something?
April 22, 200719 yr #2 Maybe... You would have to give him almost half a tonne of weight to gauge them side by side
April 22, 200719 yr #3 I believe the VL is about 400kg's ligher than the T so it will need alot less power to get a 10 than in a BA.Either way, I reckon he would have you covered.
April 22, 200719 yr #4 400+Only car that ever owned me good was a VL..But dont tell anyone Edited April 22, 200719 yr by Blonk
April 22, 200719 yr #5 Author I'm just waiting for the day... I c it every 2-3 day drive past my house.. I then asked him what it would run with his 19's that his got on, and he claimed a 12. somehing...after a min or 2 street tyres came up topic and he said " if it has full treed it will run a low 10.. so im abit like yeah ok.. just wonna roll up next 2 him and then give it a go.
April 22, 200719 yr #7 Author yeah I think he should have me covered... but my question is.. can that car run that time..255kwrw on slicks=10.3
April 22, 200719 yr #8 He will own you IMO. He has a huge weight advantage and you only have 35 rwkw on him.I dont think it could run a 10.3 with that power unless it was a very low reading dyno. It seems people are just running in the 10's with at least 280rwkw in the VL's. Edited April 22, 200719 yr by dansedgli
April 22, 200719 yr #9 Traction will be your problem.....But keep in mind your up against a nissan 3 litre motor, nothing Expensive Daewoo has or will ever produce
April 22, 200719 yr #10 A VL with standard gearing, slicks, auto, and highstall with 255kw at the rears would do a mid to high 11.Robbie.
