Yeah.. I only got topic notification from this topic.. havent had any since... same for pm's

There's not a whole lot that can be done about the spam emails unless you install your own spam blocker. I receive 20-30 spam emails a day on my site email account (at one stage was getting up to 100 a day) and the spam filter that the host provides is utter crap.

Email spiders are what is responsible for the spam. It's a tool used by dodgy marketing companies that scour the internet for email addresses found on websites.
