The comments about the interiors was also rubbish because he was erm..comparing? a new model vehicle with a BA which if memory serves was released originally when, in '02?  Dated?  Not entirely when one is comparing apples that were just picked off the tree with the ones that've been laying on the ground for awhile.

feh!

It's a BF in the video.

It's not even the XR8 shown driving beside the VE you can see through the drivers window...

No bulge in the bonnet!

What a disgrace to The Age.

Send feedback, I think I will! :censored:

Shame, shame, shame The Age!

You show a Fairmont driving beside the VE and it is also the Fairmont shown pulling off the road with the "transmission fault". Where's the XR8?

Until now I thought the car reviewing media told it how it really was.

Looks like The Age bases there decisions on who chips in the most advertising dollars.

I thought that when moving to the T, that and the horrendous blindspot from the center pillar on the Falcons...and even worse in the ute.

Dags - if you think the T has a fat A Pillar - just go sit in a VE.... even found myself moving my head sideways looking around it through intersections..... and these blokes didn't even mention the bright red Fisher Price oil and temp gauges (Quote from Motor that hits it right on the head) and cruise control hidden on the end of the stalk still - instead of safely within reach on the wheel. And they talk about an outdated interior in the XR? Yeah..... right......

You're right guys - this clip is rubbish.

CLEARLY that wasn't even an XR8 in a number of the video shots.

Disgraceful piece of supposed unbiased journalism. You may as well have handed some rednecked Late model camira bogan a camcorder and asked him what he thought of the VE compared to the Falcon. Oh wait, you DID!

Pathetic. Frankly, I would expect this sort of thing in 'Street Commodores', not the Age.

When the alleged broken down XR8 pulls off the road, it goes out on the grass about 2.5 metres from the edge of the road, yet the next shot shows it sitting there with the back wheels still on the bitumen.

And aint it funny how it can drop that oil in one little patch on the road.

Obviously, building cars is not Holdens only downfall, they could'nt even get their little scam video right. :unsure:s
