Couldn't believe how biased and rubbish this video is... Out of the 2 cars that you hear taking off in the beginning the xr8 is clearly audible over the Bogan special yet the guy keeps commenting on how much better the Bogan special sounds. He also said the Bogan special interior is far superiour to the XR8s. Maybe in the xr8s standard trim without any options it is a bit more upmarket but the red dash is a SHOCKER!! Also noticed when the guy said the XR8 was in trouble and pulling off the road they showed a Fairmont Ghia as a substitute pulling off the road. They somehow slanted the story trying to show the Ford falling to pieces on the side of the road and the commo as the victor.

Don't know what is wrong with that guy but the interior to me looks in the VE as does the outside of it. Give me the XR8 over that anyday. Also noticed that they used a fairmont as well pulling over.

how bloody obvious was it that Expensive Daewoo was footing the bill for that 60 seconds of crap. and if an auto was leaking fluid after a rock strike there would have been an elongated trail of fluid up to under where the falcon had stopped.

What a waste of time it was watching that "review". There was no "review" at all. The bias for the Expensive Daewoo vehicle was as clear as can be with zero factual data with regards to the XR8 aside from the possible transmission issue.

The comments about the interiors was also rubbish because he was erm..comparing? a new model vehicle with a BA which if memory serves was released originally when, in '02? Dated? Not entirely when one is comparing apples that were just picked off the tree with the ones that've been laying on the ground for awhile.

Drove a VE Bogan special last weekend - and still can't get over the size of the A Pillar. It obliterates about 20 degrees of the forward right vision area. It's masssive. Expect to see plenty of VE's in front on blind spot accidents.

Funny how important things like this miss reports like the clip mentioned here.....

ps - I'm sticking with the Turb!
