Even then it depends on how much power you want.I don't have either mod and still make 275RWKW Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/24703-best-cold-air-intake-option-xr6t-setup-pls/#findComment-370139 Share on other sites

Posted 13/04/06 06:43 AM Share Posted 13/04/06 06:43 AM Here is the best CAI you can get. It's been custom made by HPF but other workshops should be able to do similar. This is the filter inside the front guardThis is the pipe leading from the turbo to the filter. The battery has been relocated in the boot. You can also do very similar with the battery in it's normal spot.As has been mentioned before this is probably unnessecary for the other mods you have planned. The intercooler won't give any extra power without a retune and could cause the car to overboost and go into limp mode.A couple of simple mods would be to get a good quality air-filter and remove the centre muffler and replace with flanged straight through pipes or hot dogs.Geea. Not sure if he does it still / anymore though. The F6 mod is practical and GEEA has certainly proven his CAI from HPF to be worthy of admiration.
