Spoke to the car insurance mob, they reckon car will be covered under car, and home under home. We're waiting till Monday to speak to the home insurance mob before making the claim on the car. Better question is, how the hell did the roof collapse. Good thing it wasn't the entire roof or my car would have been crushed.

Just gave the car a quick wash and went over it with a finetooth comb.

This is everything that will need to be resprayed:

Bonnet

Front Left quarter panel

Front left Door

Rear left Door

Rear left quarter panel

Boot Lid

Spoiler

Roof

Front right quarter panel

Front Bumper

Rear Bumper

Replaced:

Right right door rubbers

Right front door plastic inserts

Right rear door plastic inserts

Window wipers

Lmfao.Basically the entire left side needs to be replaced, right sides to be relatively unharmed.

I suppose now would be a good time too ask, anyone know of any good panel shops? I want it done properly, the first time.

farken A I did. Well the old man did actually. Was just holding the damn thing a bit too tight and SNAP...conected it to the battery charger and nup.... saw the split in the tiny globe too. Got pics but no cable to load them up here yet.

PMed the group buy bloke to see if theres a chance of getting a replacement...gonna try local BMW spare parts too.

I'm waiting for the silicone to set before we can reassemble. I stuck in the 3 working globes, but wont connect the little one. Will just be the large rings for now.

make sure u give me the number of the guy that's sorts it out first time around, mines still not sorted and apparantly have tried everyone whos supposed to be "the best".

Sick I got bluetooth working instead. Check out the damage :/ This is the TINIEST fluoro globe I've ever seen. Glass breaks quite nicely...

Waiting waiting...used finger to smooth silicone on. Put more on after I took the photo though, more the merrier!

Heard a distinctive rumble of what appear to be an older Lambo outside work this arvo few seconds late a Countach rolls past!

See a few Gallardo's / murci's (and fair few Ferraris, Audis, heaps of maserati's and 30 billion 120k+ 4wd's!) around Osborne Park (I reckon Manho would see a fair few more as hes in a better spot) but they'll never be able to run with that breed of bull!
