It's really unbelievable, he was apparently doing at least 100kmph in a 50 zone. He had just got back from the movies and met a couple of other mates at the house to look at their friends' new car. When they were leaving, 3 of them jumped in Luke's car, and the others in a second car behind Luke's. Luke's car was then hit at full force by the ute and propelled into the fence of the house next door.. Which was all seen by the guys in the second car :( Refereed a soccer match today between Ballajura and Wanneroo, the boys won it for Luke.

That's horrible! Sorry to hear Brendan so sad when you hear some ones life was taking away and due to someones stupid irresponsible actions I hope he necks himself from guilt.

My condolences also Brendan... tragic loss of a young life. As usual the drunk offender 'walks away'. When will these people wake up to their stupidity.

Have kids of my own so my heart goes out too his poor parents and family, was sad to see his mum speaking on the news.

It's no real surprise that these cockheads still pissy drive as the penalties are a joke. You get more punishment for turning your tyres off the line at a set of lights than you do for being 3 times in excess of the limit ffs!

Similar story with a mate of mines sister & the offender copped a minimum sentence after killing 2 people. Makes me sick & very angry to hear these sorts of things.
