Shockwave-T Member 96 Member For: 21y 2m 26d Location: Melbourne Posted 03/09/05 02:37 PM Posted 03/09/05 02:37 PM heh I had a run-in with a Rex last weekend on a single lane stretch of private road. He was behind me when I booted it and in all honesty he stayed at my back bumper til I was about halfway through 3rd gear, than I started to creap away. My car at the time had about 1200km, mind you.The funny thing was I backed off at about 160kmh, and he overtook me, got in front, and flashed his hazards as if he beat me.

Guest super6 Guests Posted 04/09/05 01:48 AM Posted 04/09/05 01:48 AM V8 is easily the best sounding car, but rex's with loud exhausts are up there in my opinion. I found the rexs sound better inside the car compared to V8s, but that could be due to many factors.

Pity, we do seem to have scared him off though!

Maybe 'development' special prices, and maybe the cost of the setup you are running now, but I find it impossible for you to have spent a total of "just over 10K"Not including any $$ recieved from CAPA for running 10's ( if any )Didn't you start with a Cobra package?? They aint cheap..
