Gday all,

As you can see from my username I have chosen a bit of a suss name for my car. The kids wanted to call the car "Rex", and for obvious reasons (ie: WRX) I thought this was a bad idea.

NOW! I thought about it and XR6T, when craftily re-arranged, spells T-R6X. I had to use this name because of the similarities between the XR6T and the mighty T-Rex: A beast who, whilst not the largest of it's type, rules the jungle with an iron fist!!

I'm thinking that the fact that the XR6T kicks ALL V8's into submission more than warrants this beastly moniker.

Innevitably, the follwing questions need to be answered:

1. Do you think this is an appropriate name for my Rapid dragon-slayer of a 6?

2. Do you think the name is too closely related to the Subaru "Rex"?

3. Do you have a name for your car?, and

4. Do I have too much time on my hands to be so engrossed in such a silly subject?

Can't wait to hear some responses.

Cheers all,

Eyby :spoton:

Tough question.

Umm...Id have to say t-rex rhymes with rex (WRX) a bit too much. Nevertheless if you like it go for it, dont worry if others like it or not.

I like Promite more than Vegemite and noone can tell me what my tastebuds prefer. :spoton:

I choose option 4.

My car's name is what every I want too call it at the time.

Names like F'ing bas*ard, piece of :pinch: comes to mind at times and also GoodT and asskicker at other times.

I still do not know how you got T-Rex out of XR6T, it does not seem right even with your explination :spoton:

I'm sorry, but your tastebuds are clearly in error. Vegemite is what they prefer, they're just not running at their best at the moment it would seem. :spoton:

Eyby, good choice of name. I was going to suggest the passe' "Lion Tamer", until I looked it up on Urbandictionary.com, then I changed my mind.

Rapid T-R6X is an excellent choice of name.

P.S. There's a reason I didn't link directly to the definition. Read at your peril.
