The contact patch is the area on the teeth that actually pushes agaist the next tooth on the other gear. When the area gets damaged for whatever reason, The gearbox will start to get excessively noisy. Eventually it will grenade. Third gear is usually the first to go, or the input shaft/ cluster drive gear set. A certain amount of noise may be present in first gear in a new box, but not elsewhere. Ben.

why dont you pm mal woods (wbt56) to get his opinion... hard for members to say as I dont know of any that have done it.

Each to there own opinions but I could tell you many bad stories about nizpro and id like to see your car on a different dyno pull the same power

The fact still remains HPF have the fastest xr6 turbos in the country and they pull less power at the wheels than most which points to most people's dynos reading way to high
HPF are the only place that have customers cars out there backing up there power figures with times
