so is 231.9 low or normal??

Low, but uyou need to factor in a number of things..

Manual or auto?

How old is it?

How many k's has it done?

Another thing is if you do not fit the right exhaust you will go backwards in power. there are a number of threads on research done on this topic, search find and read them, as the factory exhaust is quite good, not as simple as the old days with just changing bits................

So is a standard Manual more or less powerful than a standard Auto - given same age etc?

I know Autos soak up more power than a manual as a rule - but are the programs for the manual cars more powerful to start with?

Hmmm, just the nature of the beast then, the one thing we know about the T's is the major variations in tolerances within the engine.

I suggest when you get the injectors and springs done you will see a solid increase upwards of 270rwkw.

The main measurement however is not against others but from the % gain you got from you base figure. What did theb car make stock, before the edit?

Same ecu programme, there is a setting for manual or auto. identicle as you said the autos soak up more power, however the Autos are quicker.

You say the Autos are quicker - is that as the manuals have clutch slip, or the auto is shifting quicker?

I would have thought the advantage of 6 gears over 4 would help?

There is alot of discussion on this topic, do a search. Autos are quicker, manuals have alot slower change and loose boost on changing. There is more to it but the ongoing results speak for themselves.

BTW I am a manual, so I know.
