- When the cables will be available for purchase.

- A listing of the paramaters which can be changed by the user.

Quick Tune software allows the user or owner to custom tune his own vehicle. It has limited capability and safety parameters to ensure success. Different tunes to improve performance or fuel economy can be loaded into one of the three ports at any time. Parameters like axle ratio, tyre size, fuel injectors, rev / speed limiter, two step rev limiter, engine timing, engine idle speed, transmission shift firmness, transmission shift points, torque converter lock-up schedule, air fuel ratio changes at idle / part throttle / open throttle.

So are you saying that this software will be available to the customer when they purchase the flasher Unit.

If I was a dealer and all theose options were available to the general public. I don't think I would be too happy, considering that they have to pay a licence fee to use the software.

Did'nt mean for it to sound like I was flaming you mate, sorry if it came across that way.

I was just trying to make a point that if CAPA released a product that would let John Citizen play with that many parameters whats left in the full tuning software that the dealers pay a license fee for.

I maybe inconjunction with a local business becoming a dealer, to say that if we paid for a license to sell and tune the product it would be a waste of money if that many parameters could be changed with a quicktune.

I think alot of dealers would feel cheated if this was to happen
