Just do a search for SCT Edit or just plain EDIT To answer one of your questions. The tuning tools basically do the same thing if you use a piggyback tuning deviceMost tuners on this site have allegents to one particular tool.SCT EDIT is the new tuning tool that most people are considering when starting their mods. Quite a few have already swung over to th new tool.hope this helps a little bit macka

The Piggyback will allow for realtime tuning, but will bend the ECU signal. The Edit is a store and forward type tuning, but can change a lot more parameters in the factory ECU, it will also change the parameters that the ECU uses, so it does not bend the signal.CAN THE DEALERSHIP DETECT THE FORD EDITApparently Ford DO KNOW the car has been flashed/Edited. Do not kid yourselves thinking that you can put the stock map back in the car and try to claim the car is stock if there are any warranty "issues" that could have been caused by a increase in power. The Edit is still a new product and everyone is still learning what it can do. Not many people have custom tunes, but I can assure you it is the way of the future, because the ECU in the BA range is like a dual Xenon server......It has heaps of grunt that has not been exploited yet

And I sense a TROLL.Get out the FLAMETHROWERS!
