Definitely Yes, FMCo and  Ford service technicians can read the PCM has been flashed. :spoton:

Peter

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Could you explain how they do this Peter?

Enlighten me further (this should be good)

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I will find out.

I know a Ford Engineer that develops the engine managment systems. He has all the software and hardware hooked up to his car and can edit the PCM with live time tuning. He even showed me the hardware and which pins it is wired into to do the live tuning.

As he is one of the engine managenment specialists he will know the PCM backwards.

Comes up to Castlemaine every Saturday, so I check him out and post his reply.

On another Note *

Tuner how long before C.A.P.A are site sponsors as promised a while back.

The EDIT is recieving a lot of FREE exposure on this forum.

I have nothing against EDIT in fact I will be switching over very shortly but I belive the mods or Admin should ban or delete all posts refering to the EDIT until it becomes a sponsor.

For all the bagging Peter and APS gets. un warranted in my OP

At lest they put their money where their mouth is. :spoton:

Hey Peter,

I meant privately owned... probably should have stated that ;)

Grant

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Fair enough Grant. Though in my view fastest is fastest and quickest is quickest, otherwise we will have the people claiming the fastest purple auto ute with 19" wheels privately owned with less than 10k kms on the odo meter with fluffy dice off the mirror.:spoton:

Peter

I agree, also the C&V car is as good as privatly owned, he uses it as his daily driver and family car.

So if my car was to be the fastest would it not fit into a privatly owned car catigory due to it being registered in my companys name???

There's no need to be pedantic about it... would you prefer it if I said that I meant a non-tuning house car? I'm sure most people are aware of the gist of my comment - my saying that Geea's car is the quickest was no slur on either APS or Nizpro's efforts.
