Ford attracting more younger drivers

Hi all,

I was speaking with my brother in law who is the service manager at Ford (for reasons I can't mention which Ford dealership) and it looks like Ford have really taken the market share with the T.

52% of the T purchases are from people under the age of 30. I think that's brilliant. It's good to see that people who drive around in these import cars are starting to see the light and are starting to spend some money in our Australian vehicles.

I was also told that Ford are now going to focus heavily on the Forced Induction market by still try to maintain sales in the NA.

If you guys think the F6 Typhoon is something to talk about, you guys have seen nothing yet. Wait until you see what Ford is bringing out as a "concept" to fight the Torana (not just in speed, in style, color, class all of it). I can't say anymore otherwise I'll get shot :D

Whats your thoughts?

Looks like Expensive Daewoo will slowly take the V8 and Supercharge market and Ford will stay strong in F/I. Especially with the Typhoon and the next concept car coming out next year.

that's what I think at least.

I was 30 when I got mine so I just fit in that group.

One quote I read last year was a laugh I thout. It was "The BA is a fantastic car and whats even better is that it doesnt look like a shed anymore"

Better agressive lines and a great shape certainly interest the younger lads that's for sure.

In saying that I still would have bought one if I was 60
