So how often do you wash your beloved (car that is..Scotty)?

I hand wash mine twice a week.. drive through car lovers auto wash at least three times a week and get a full detail (minus engine bay) once a week..

I know it might sound crazy.. just wondering how crazy I suppose..

That is pretty damn crazy...lol...

I dont "wash" it as such that often, usually a Karcher followed by a chamois to remove dust. I wax usually every 2 weeks.

And im lucky if I drive it every 2 weeks! 18 months old, 13510 klms......

Misses does it twice a week religiously....don't know if I could get her to do it as often as you do though Jeff...

Geez mate, you wash yours more in a week than l would in 8.

Wash car once a week and rinse car once a week wih karcher, unfortunatey we do have the best color out there but it bloody shows up all the dust. Gotta hate when ya miss a spot.

Wash mine every sunday morning after work, except if its really foggy.

Problem is I have a black T and a dirt/dust driveway at home So it looks like I never wash it.

Well well in my early years of owning the AU I use to wash it like twice a week but since ive become rather BUSY (as you do) its being neglected. I got it polished though two weeks ago and then I got it detailed again yesturday arvo coz ive been out on the dirt roads (and yes they ruined it).

Neways ive become so lazy now that ive ditched the XR floor matts for some cheap Ford Rubber jobbies that I can shake out on the road, saves getting the vacuum cleaner out!

The AU gets done once every 6-8 weeks, and the XR gets washed and vacuumed every weekend. :D

Oh, I use cold water, a bucket, a sponge, and car wash from big W :lol:

I wash mine every fortnight and wax it every 2 months. Oh the joy of Citric Acid which does not show the dirt.

Jeff with all that washing Im surprised you get time to drive it lols
