05/06/04 05:55 AM05/06/04 05:55 AM #2 It's going to have a twin clutch with heavy duty pressure plate, also I have heard that it will have a 9" diff. And tyres that will last more than 7000kms no matter how hard you drive it.They are also blueprinting the whole drive train to eliminate the shunt. It will come with two bottles of touch-up paint, one the colour of the car and the other the colour of the splitter bar on the bumper bars.Tremec short shifter.Underdrive pulleys.Pacemaker headers.SS Cold Air induction with BMC air filter.SS 80mm throttle body with helix.Batten plenem spacer.APS unichip. The car will be good for 375fwkw'sThe price will be $80,000.There, that should get the rumour mill well and truly grinding! You really didn't expect any serious answers did you Ken??? I wonder who will be the first poster to get this thread off topic?

05/06/04 10:12 AM05/06/04 10:12 AM #7 l have heard that Ford are looking at having buyers of next model FPV's sign a declaration that if they modify their car in any form, your warranty is voided. Make no mistake, the $$ rules at Ford.Seriously ken, l would think hard before jumping in. l would be watching resale very closely as l think by the end of this year you will be seeing FPVs returing sh!te resale value, as bad as T series. FPV keep making marketing cock ups, treat a lot of customers poorly and l believe a lot of the problems with the BA are becoming known to the general public which will of course further dent resale.

I'll be looking at all the options that fall into that price category, but the favourites at this stage are the GT or the Typhoon (+ options).... just have to wait and see, I guess. :o
