Geea's mods part 4

The mighty "BOOF" (my "T" for those that don't know), is going in to Amberley tomorrow. I am having Geea stage 4 done.

Stage 4 will be a switch with 2 different maps. The current tune and a performance tune for drag or track racing. Not sure what the result is going to be but I'm just a little excited. I'm hoping we can up the overall boost and also bring on more boost a bit earlier. I will post any news as soon as I get it myself.

Here is even better news, Not only will I have the team from Amberley working on the car (which is great in itself), Lachlan is down from QLD and I believe that he will be involved in the tuning aswell.

I cant wait, (I seem to be doing a lot waiting since I got this car).

Once you feel the power of the performance tune, do you think you will be switching it back to your current tune?

Once you feel the power of the performance tune, do you think you will be switching it back to your current tune?

Mondie, I understand where your coming from and it is a possiblity.

Its unlikely though cause as it is the car is quite a handful if driven hard (I really need to work on the suspension and brakes). The other thing is that if the new tune ups the boost, it wont be good if I use it on a regular basis as it will generate alot of heat because the intercooler will be at its maximum capacity.

Then again I better not say too much and wait and see cause it might be hard to put the switch out of performance mode.
