Ok so what do you recommend to get for this to happen.........at the moment l have a Blaupunkt DVD Player ME1 with Interface leads and RGB running off a Blaupunkt Signal Convertor IVSC 5501...........where do l go and buy them at what price and again l appreciate your help

I am not that famliar with IVSC, but I believe it accepts a standard composite video signal. If this is the case, then it could be a simple as sourcing a standard 12v Set Top Box (STB) and hooking it straight in.

I am happy to catch up to have a look at your setup and recommend whats needed, when I am back from my travelling..

Reading thru all of this has just given me a headache. I want to do it but some instructions with all the acronyms written out in full would be tremendous otherwise more headaches working thru it.

Q. Can the digital TV be put on any BA Falcon screen or only the ones with Premium sound system.

I was looking thru Hot4s and Performance Issue 126 out now on page 140 it had a Jacar product QM 3740. I think its an analog TV tuner but it has a Quad Antenna system which may be of interest to people trying to get better reception. The article states:

This Jaycar unit will solve your problems, with built in TV tuner and two composite inputs from sources such as X box, PS2 and DVD. It has stereo audio outputs and two composite outputs for screens. It comes with a remote to select your input source, tune into or select TV chanels and volume. I've got one of these. They are very handy, seems anything will plug into it. Good if you want to chuck in headrest monitors for the rear passengers also.

All cost differences asside, would purchasing a STB made by a better brand than Teac improve reception at all? I've never been a fan of Teac after having several of their products years ago, with lots of problems.
