I ordered mine on Dec 9th 2003 - picked up Feb 12th 2004Lee ordered his new years day and received in late feb..... :hiwelcome:

To be honest, I was a little concerned about swirls etc on the paint, nearly ordered the mercury. Just wish it was here.........Did you get the paint protection? The last car I bought which was only 11 months ago I had the full MING pack and thought it was a waste of time, although not sure this time considering the colour. I am happy with the silhouette - I make no secrets about keeping it clean, but hey, I enjoy it...sounds wanky I know...but I do!I did get paint protection - this is the first car I have purchased new and I am only a youngen and got sucked in by the young hottie behind the desk, I don't know what difference it makes, if any, the only comforting thought is that I got a decent discount on it :hiwelcome: Enjoy the wait...keep surfing this site, awesome resource and top bunch of people with a common interest.Chris

I too have just purchased my new car last week and will hopefully have it in 6 weeks time........These chat forums are awesome and I have learnt a lot especially since I'm not really a petrol head as such. Also fallen in love with Ford as I was a Euro & Japanese car lover. That was until a work collegue drove me in his XR6T to a Xmas function.I've been hooked ever since and finally convinced my wife that we had to get rid of her car, she would now get the 2000 Magna Sports and guess who gets to drive the XR6T???!!!ciao for nowdutchie

As for paint protection - pffft all they do is rub a bit of polish over the car. But I would get tint. neways GREAT choice with the luxo pack!
Guest dingah Guests Posted 08/04/04 08:15 PM Posted 08/04/04 08:15 PM :locked: Welcome, albeit to the dark side. Shame about the colour it will sure keep you busy and warm...daughter chose same colour for her car. Ming protection when applied properly to the external paintwork is worth the investment but knock them down to a sensible price but internal protection is a rort. Guess that's what Mum meant when she told me to always ensure that I used protection so I just followed her advice. Dingah

The build date on the compliance plate is March 04.The dealer said they preorder many different T's and simply as people order a car they modify their order to suit what their customers want.CheersWiggy
