They do take ages to heal up, On my old computer ... I have pictures of it week by week ... took ages for it to go. Just watch ya back (unpadded mostly)

GAME ON. Do that, and I think you'll find you'll have either an arrest warrant or a mobster contract out on you. Those paintballs f*cking hurt, I copped a ripper in the back of the neck at 1.5 metres away.

Depends completely upon your style, some people tend to be pot-shotters, where-as other prefer to rapidly spray. Im more-so a pot-shotter, and ammo lasts quite a while ... Normally end up wasting loads of ammo at end on random sh*t (like unpadded people or birds)
  11. It's a special once off release from the Ford factory. Its a Fairmont Ghia, with a full XR6 kit and a few other bits. They only ever produced one, and I somehow ended up with it. Not really, I put an XR6 Kit on a grandpa-spec Ghia. At the moment, It is the furthest thing away from a Fairmont Ghia as possible
  12. The gains are good, pretty much expected from the mods ... But still good. I still am amazed at the technology these days ... 182kw from an N/A 6 (BA) and 190kw (BF) and 165kw from a N/A V8 (VS). Who'd have thought power levels would be reaching this high eh. If only my car would chirp. The excess weight and Fords excessively tall gearing tends to put a dampener on the fun. However, I have had it peel sideways (wet)shifting into 2nd, and at 85km/h .. It wasn't exactly a heart-warming experience.
  13. I can count to potato.
  14. Tonight's banquet? Roast potatoes, Steak (Very very very rare, see: Raw), cauliflower, carrots and peas. Perfect.

Knew someone had to stir it. *Bashing head against wall sound* All better.
  16. Oi Bro, Pass the Mother f*cking munchies and quit hogging the PS-2.
  17. Fuel pricing does'nt tend to phase me from driving my car. But for others on tight(er) budgets, I can understand how much of a relief it is for prices to be going south and not north. Will be good if it would ever (never?) get back below $1. Oh, and goverments LPG rebate? Just give me the 2k, Im sure I will spend it better than a tight-ass gas conversion.

Daniel. Dan. Danny. Either of those is fine.

I work for Repco. And Yes, I know what REPCO stands for before anyone asks.
  20. Hey mate ... I simply put on some headers, and a full cat-back system. Noise was good, Power felt up, but the exhaust didn't have the sort of growl I was after. I have since removed the rear section of piping (muffler included) and replaced it with a muffler-less section of twin piping with twin BF GT tips either side. The BF GT tips seem to be a perfect fit to the XR Rear skirt, and the exhaust note itself is awesome ... Very loud on throttle and a nice burble on idle. Just a quick pic to dwell on.

Just a little hint - Interesting how "FORCED6" and "FORCED8" numberplates have all of a sudden rocketed in sales. Rumour I have heard is that its gonna be an T/C (Typhoon) 6 cyl and S/C 8cyl luxury sedan (LWB or SWB unsure) that will be a smack in the face to the HSV luxury range.
  22. Correct - BA/BF cruise control systems use 'Engine braking' rather than using the brakes to slow the car down. Not really the best of systems out there, due to the fact that any (decent) decline WILL result in the car gaining speed. The Ford engineers have worked on that theory, that when driving a deep decline/incline ... you should not be using cruise control in the first place. Would be good, But these cars have too many chimes as it is. Seems each day I figure out a new chime on this bloody car!
  23. How dare they! White NEVER looks 'fleet car' spec.
  24. Ill tag along for the drive. Sunday preferable.

Ill start off by saying - The New HSV is horrid. The VE was bear-able (only just) and HSV have simply gotten hold of it and beaten it with the ugly stick. My whole gripe with the all new VE commodore, is the obvious fact that the Expensive Daewoo engineers have taken every popular design cue from the last 4-5 years and thrown them all together in one car. Guards (front and rear) are quite obviously BMW M3 - Massively flared and have similar vents. The rear end is very Mistubishi 380 (Euro Inspired). Once, again, the wheel base is very BMW - Front wheels sit much closer towards the front of the car than the out-going VZ. In my opinion, the whole car looks like a bigger version of their previous shaped Astra, and I fail to see where the 1-billion was spent on the car. I can guarantee it WILL sell ... But purely on the basis that people will wanna keep up with "the jones's", Rather than converted buyers coming from a different manufacturer bias (ie, Ford, mitsubishi etc) I beleive it is early days, but, with their decision NOT to add forced induction into the equation (especially with the success in the XR6T's) completely bemuses me!
