Bloody Birds they are pests when it comes to cars they fly into them when your driving or s#!t on them when u have just washed it. I have taken out a magpie it hit my driver's side fog light and knocked it back out of place and I have had 2 other birds at driffant times, that hit the window and bounce up into my ladders, 1 of them bounce off and ended on the side of the road the second 1 bounced back off the ladder to end up on top of the wiper bleeding over the wind screen one of the cats got a good feed from that bird cause it happened about 200m form home I just pulled the bird off a threw it in the garden for the cats

Go to pedders or someone like that don't go to a tyre shop they wouldn't know what was wrong they (bob jane @ hornsby) told me my tie rod end was stuffed because they couldn't get my alignment stright and to go back to ford for them to look at it.

best thing to do is take it to ford sounds like its a bit sick

I got the bonet to pop, did the same cave it a good tug with pilers my mate whos a mechanic had a look and thinks that the cable has stretched. thanks for the help.

that's what mine has done but it did that cause I pulled it a bit to hard when the bonet didnt pop up and I have tryed to pull it with pilers that's why I think its stuck at the latch

need help can't pop the bonet, The latch or cable has stuck under the bonet and cant reach or get to latch from under front bar. going to ford is last opition as I have no warranty

a better timber than Jarrah to use is Quilla when polished looks the same as Jarrah but it is a tiffer timber and last longer in th weather it is the same timber used to make jetties. my parents have a jarrah table and the chairs are Quilla they were oiled at the same time and the jarrah table needed polishing again before the Quilla chairs.

a timber tray is the way to go it's on my to do list 1 thing to make sure you do is the soak the timber in a tray of lindseed oil or similar that way the timber gets a really good coat of oil and there is less change of the timber bowing.

I run sumitomo's on my ute they were $750 with wheel alignment and I have found them to be better then the dunlop sp3000 that come on the ute

I have nakang ns2 on 20's on the wifes xr6 and they are a quiet tyre, the standard dunlop tyre for the 17's are a noisy tyre that's the only thing I did'nt like about them. Sumitomo's are a nice quite tyre I run them on the ute.

I saw another story on this and it had said that this guys had been doing to other cars as well over the last 3 months. Just guess that they had to drop a maserati not a s#!t box, serves the owner right for lending is Maserati to his sister while O/S it would of be safer if he left it at home.

the turbos and xr8 utes are limted to 230ks the N/A 6's are limted to 180ks but I have hit 185 then had to slow down in my N/A xr6 ute I'm not sure what the 220kw v8 are limted to in the utes

there used to be a suzuki sierra with surf boards and the radar was hidden under the boards going around the northern beaches about 5 years ago. And the hornsby cops had a taxi for about 2 weeks which they did all sorts in radar, drug busts and what ever they could with it
