that is a nice ute, that is a good idea to change the colour of the roof lining white is a sh*t colour to put in a car expecally a ute mine had black marks on it as I used it for a work ute.

atm 20-30 this week just gone none cause it's rained all week but soon should be doing 50-70 as summer is coming.

I just had a look at that on mine it looks like it is adjustable to suit if it is a xr or xl/s ute.

that is interesting I only have 1150mm inbetween my wheel arches (my ute is a 03 xr6 n/a) I had to take lenths of timber to put gyprock sheets on when I had to pick some up. maybe ford put the wrong tub liner in your ute only a problem if you want to put wider tyres on like 19 or 20 by 10's. the xl & xls tubs are designed to take a 1200 by 2400 sheet with the tailgate down. sanzort if u get a xr6t and the pallet dosn't fit change the tub liner to a xl 1 with the larger wheel arch space if buying from a ford dealer try and get them to do it for free to make the sale.

that's the way a aussie ute in good old pommy land. If I were to move back to england I would have to take a aussie car with me.

from what I can remember from when I got my ute the sales guy said that the space between the wheel arch's is narrow in the xr range than the xl/s to be able to fit bigger wheels under, in a xls you should have a full 1200mm between the arch's it's only the tub liner that makes the driffence.

that's really bad efficiency I got better in the ute towing a tralier full of stock two ladders on the racks with a bundle of 40mm pipes and the back of the ute full with tools and materials, I would get about 14-15l/100 about 500-550kms off a tank and that was driving around sydney with a heavy foot. maybe u should give it a bit to try losen things up then take it out on the open road to cuise, that might help. in my ute a BA auto I have had the avg down to 9.2l/100 with the tray full and two of us in the cab but that was driving from sydney to coffs when it was double demerits normal is about 9.5l/100. I have got 751km on a tank and when I filled up the trip computer said I still had 35kms to empty in the wive's BA manual seadan it's avg on highway is 9.5-10l/100 around town it's about 12-13l/100 so about 550-600 a tank and the cars stock bar the k&n air filter

looks good. I'm going to remesh my bar this weekend just waiting for it to come in

most of the speed cameras between sydney and coffs have been both directions for the last 2 years or more (its only in the last 2 years we have done this trip a lot) the worst part of the trip is macksville to coffs it's only 50km and has 6 cameras. you have to watch out for the camera cars cause they will get u both ways I got done in tamworth it was the day before 0-15 over went to 3 points.

that's a nice set up, how do you find the big screen on your eyes, when I housesat a friends place, we hooked up my xbox to his projector (I think the screen is about the same size as yours) I found it quite hard a my eyes after a while when playing need for speed most wanted.

some people are just f**kwits can't people just get a job and buy things them self. the 1st thing that stands out to say it's fake, it's a magenta licence (brown across the top and it should say heavy vechicle drivers licence not drivers licence) and it's only a C class licence. and the 2nd thing is the rta would not acept a signature like that, they are very fussy about the signature's.

you need to get some mesh in the grill and and get rid of the weather shields get the slimline weather shields if you want a weather shield just my 2 cents but other wise looks good

When I lived in sydney and would go to westfield hornsby I would go stright to the roof top parkng wouldn't care if it was pissing down or a 35 deg day, when it's hot there might be 5-10 cars parks on the roof

When I had a drive of it at easter I didn't notice any lag, it just went f@#king hard and wanted to break traction between 1st & 2nd and that's with the semi slicks on and the boot was full of tool boxs, it's PS it's a 4speed auto

yeah I think that's right I tinted my tail lights and it looks great I have seen clear on a mercury silver ute and it didnt look good just my 2 cents
