Morning @k31th! What a crazy week so far in perth! 5 day lockdown and now 71 homes destroyed in a bushfire 😥😥 Heaps of suburbs evacuated, I can smell it from my house and I'm about 40-50km from the fire. Yet another bad start to the year, 2020 is repeating itself

Ahahaha yea nah that won't cut the mustard 🤣 His house will be FTTP so the plan is to have a vertical rack mount unit in the garage on the wall. Will try get all the NBN crap into the one wall mount cabinet along with the modem, router and switch. He's getting some WAP (ubiquiti WAP) around the house for his wifi. Should be a pretty baller setup I reckon

Damn that beach doesn't look calm at all 🤣 Looks like the ocean wants to kill you! Perth's beaches are half as busy and twice as nice 😉

the termination of ethernet cables in itself isn't hard at all. Its routing the c@nts through the house that's a huge pain the arse 🤣 Do it in winter, the roof is much more pleasant 🤣 My brother is in the process of building a house, plans to have ethernet ports in every room and wants a server rack installed. I'll be doing the network side of things once the wiring has been put in place. Sure as sh#t ain't doing that part 😋

Damn turbos are getting cheap 😲 https://antzperformance.com.au/product/antz6784/ Hoping these kinds of turbos put some real pressure on the likes of garrett and Precision Turbo, all I've seen is good results from the cheap turbos. If they stand the test of time and produce similar results for a third of the cost, why would you spend the extra money if you don't need to 🤷♂️

Feels absolutely awesome!!! I can see how chasing power is addictive, it feels so different! Not to mention it sounds farrrking amazing now 🤤 Classic story for an xr6t, turbos maxed out. Next on the list I suppose, but I'm thinking about doing the driveline next before I chase any more power. I'd love to get a trutrac and the IMS diff hat, and maybe a built box... I know it can probably handle 300kw all day every day but I still feel like I'm gonna break it 🤣

The Daily's Quest for 310KW!
So yesterday was the big day! I rocked up to MT (Monsta Torque) at 8am with a box of parts and a deep pocket 🤣 After all the trans cooling issues I've been having I decided to buy the PWR heat exchanger from Goleby's. We can debate about this another time, Rob recommends them and I trust him so I went with it. The cooler right on time before the tune, so along with that Rob installed the cooler and checked the oil. It has had a service and flush just over a year ago so another service wasn't planned, however I left it up to Rob to decide if I needed it done again (in the end it didn't). Sadly, the PWR exchanger was missing the ENTIRE fitting kit!! Rob luckily had one last kit at his shop that he raided for the fitting kit - I'm now in the process of getting another fitting kit sent to Rob to replace the one he used. It was some decent drama to start off the day at the shop! They also installed the Ultrex dump and cat for me, I tried on Sunday but couldn't get the blasted O2 sensors off 🤬 Finally came the tune! I arrived back at the shop to see the end of the tune, I got to see 2 pulls, I was so amazed that I didn't take any videos 🤣🤯 The sound that rig produced in the corner off the shop was absolutely insane! First time seeing a car on a dyno and I was seriously blown away, felt like a kid again 🤣 Ended up with 316kw at the hubs (you can tell me what that equates to at the wheels, I have no idea) and 675nm (derived, whatever that means) of torque. I'm over the moon with this result! Pic of the rig and the dyno below for those that are interested 😁

You're just full of advice @k31th! Morning all! Dropped my car off to Rob at Monsta Torque today. So begins the eager wait to see how its performs! He's installing the utlrex dump and high flow cat for me. I tried yesterday nut couldn't get the blasted O2 sensor off the stock dump! 🤬

TGIF, first week back at work has been slow to say the least. But hey at least my office has A/C. Perth has been scorching this week 🥵 I was looking at their turbos recently!! Seem like fkn awesome budget turbos. Great to see one of them running on a barra for a long time. Here's the one I was looking at: EDIT, wrong link https://au.kinugawaturbosystems.com/products/kinugawa-gtx3582r-ba-bf-xr6?

This issue happened to me a while back, I think I brought it up on the forums when it did. I'm yet to have the whole issue again. I do sometimes have text that I've written and posted still saved in the text box though. Just not the "jumping to the top of the page" thing. On a side note, I used to have an annoying issue where I'd click a link to a fourm thread from the homepage and no matter what it would always take me to the "new members thread". It was really annoying. If I navigated to the "activity" tab and do it through there it was fine. These are the links I'm talking about for reference

New year new forum! 😉😉 Seriously though, its good to have an up-to-date forum. Both for bugs and issues but also from an UI/UX point-of view. I haven't made websites but I have and do design user interfaces for gas detectors. UX, or user experience, plays a stupidly huge role in interfaces. When you boil it down that's all the forum is, an interface to communicate with other people. Having an interface that keeps up with modern day design trends tends (key word here) to keep people engaged more, meaning more engagement on the forum. With more engagement on the forum we get more people discussing things, helping others, etc. All-in-all a good thing. "old" looking forums also usually run on older website builds which lack features and usually have more bugs. @k31th the layout is pretty f#$ky atm though I do like the new look though! follows similar styles to modern smartphone interfaces which is groovy!
