Dont hold your breath. I informed HO one of their dealerships was defrauding them (yes I had ample proof) yet they decided to do nothing about it. Fraud doesn't give a crap about their customers. if they did they would make these dealerships more accountable.

Well we are STILL waiting for shopping centre to call back, ended up getting it fixed my self, came up a treat, $600 cash Now have new alarm system with 5 k range, little pic of car on remote telling you whats wrong with the car, pretty good little unit, dont park near anyone, never did when it happened. Always make notes on rego. Still sh*ts me though that you park in a carpark with a hundred or more other spots and the mongrels still park right next to you. Starting to park in middle of 2 spots now, screw em all, no-one cares about mine I dont care taking 2 spots!

$253.15 plus tax for each from Fraud. I only need the exhaust one. Fraud have never heard of it happening before either. Just got to find the money now to fix her...So frustrating after just spending 7500 on her...Heading off to the shed to see what I have left that I can sell whats the chance of me selling my original cooler and piping...anyone know if there selling and if so how much should I ask for..cheers

He showed me a photo he took on his phone to show me (and before anyone asks I trust this guy, he aint one of the dodgy ones) he showed me a pic of the cams, not sure how to describe it but imagine taking a pic of the cams in like he did, how you have the individual ridges of the camshaft 9not sure what theyre called) well on one of those it looked like a bit of chrome that had a small tarnished section if that makes sense. He said there was a couple of small shavings, so small nothing to worry about he says. Question is how long have they been like that. I have had her since 43000, she is now 99350 roughly and I have driven her like she was stolen every chance I have had. So one side's thinking not biggy, do it but take your time as it could have been like that for a while whilst the other side is thinking now I have bigger and better valve springs the stress passes on to the next dodgy part which looks like to be the camshaft so I need to do it asap me thinks. He has done heaps of T's, has one himself and is scratching his head at why it has done what its done. He seems to think might have been a factory standard dodgy part. Cant see any other reason. Happy that it was found when it was found, pi$$ed off that I havent got any doe left after spending 7500 on her in the last 2 weeks. Just wish there was some way of knowing about this and I would of held off on something else and got the cams done. Oh well, sh*t happens. Ringing fraud tomorrow out of curiosity on what a new set is worth from them. Pretty weary of Atomic SENNA T after listening to alot of people in the know and coming to my own conclusions from that. This guy builds race engines for a living and swears Nizpro are the way to go so that's what I did. Cant mention his name as he likes to stay incognito and doesnt like to get involved in all the politics that comes with mechanical talk. Has his own opinions and beliefs like most. Its just that I have found his to be more believable than others. You know how you can tell who is pulling your wad and who isnt?

have bulging disc impeding into nerve root causing same symptoms. Been told gym work will fix it, couldn't believe what im hearing, surgeon wont operate, say im too young, 37 for fux sakes. Been on compo for 5 months now. Physio, gym, Psych, Physio, gym, Psych. Bloody merry go round. Week away from second torcherous cortisone injection that doesn't work but insurance company says doc says you need it so do it or we dont pay you cause you ain't co-operating. Wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy and its true that because people cant see the injury, most you feel like think your talking sh*t!!

Love her too much to do what I want to do at the moment. lol seen crows for 699. Has a clip of the sound coming from a T. Sounds sweet. Guru working on it says just put same back in. Just got Nizpro valve springs put in my baby. Mechanic mate said be ready be lunchtime today (had it since Yesterday morning to do valve springs and walbro pump). Hadn't heard anything as of 1.30 today and was starting to worry. Rings me at 2pm and says "dude we have a problem". So after I pick my heart up off the floor and put it back in my chest he tells me as they were putting everything back after doing the springs he noticed the hard casing has completely worn away from a section of the camshaft. Says "Good news is but the rest looks brand new, very nice" he says. Some consolation I suppose. Just spent 6500 on her with new mags, rapids kit, the valve springs, fuel pump, body work from a shopping trolley. Just fuming there was no way of knowing this before hand. Now instead of being able to go out and have some fun, I have to drive around like grandma till I can come up with more doe for new camshafts Now keep I mind, granted, I drive her hard, but she is known to be very well looked after when it comes to servicing and looking after her in all the other ways. She is 800k short of 100000k's. There was no indication of this obviously prior to exposing the situation by doing the valve springs. Point is if this hadn't been done, I wouldnt have known, continued to drive her like she was stolen and then paid heavily when the kaboom came. If you get the chance to expose the camshafts, do so. if just for the sake of knowing you wont be dropping cylinders any time soon. Just need to work out which kid to sell on ebay now so I can pay for this lol. Doesn't help being on workers comp for the last 5 months. Another reason why I wished I would have known about it before hand. Fingers crossed she lasts long enough for me to scrape some more doe together. Been told to just put another standard one in rather than go brand new. Just weighing up the options over new and better, new and same or 2nd hand same but in A1 condition. See how we go, think im having my hopes a little to high to think anyone out there happens to have set of originals sitting around from when they upgraded in A1 condition? Seriously though, if you can check this out...do so. Better safe than sorry.

Hey I.B.!!! Got exactly what your wanting. The boys put on the premiums before I got mine. So I already had the bigger caliper. But I have just put these DBR 4000 6by6's on with Ferodo pads and WOW..Im happy. that's after starting with PBR (then fraud put originals on the mongrels) then RDA's...crap and now the DBA's...they are good. Cost me 650 for rotors and pads. If your interested let me know and I can send you details of where I get them from. Cheers Dan

dont assume anything from anyone selling you something bud. Change your tranny oil and filter. Should be done at least every 50000. Mine was doing similar, did oil change at a mates workshop and now all good.

Thought I would put up some pics of my 2004 BA XR6 Turbo. Its an ex highway patrol car from Albury. There is alot of flak given over these ex chasers but I have to say I haven't got ONE complaint. I was in the right spot at the right time when I got her and after doing some quick but thorough research on it, I just had to have her. This car blows ALOT of theories heard on here and out there, out of the water. She is CAPA Flash Tuned (on Generic Tune 10psi). I have just installed Rapid's V3 High Flow Intercooler Kit. On Friday valve springs and Walbro fuel pump go in. This girl has gone from a stock thoroughbred racehorse to a modified fighter jet. I have DBA 4000's all round after trying many different brands and combinations. These mods have given me serious power increase and has shown no need to do anything more at this stage except the valve springs (protection) and fuel pump (temporary lack of fuel reaching on occassion), besides that she runs and performs like a dream. I also look after her better than myself so im told. She is fed nothing except Caltex Vortex 98 and Penrite Oils. I do an oil and filter change every 5000km's. The wheels are 18" Starcorp Racing Impulse Chrome on Kumho's. New XR6 Chrome skirt badging and Chrome FPV guard badging, mesh upper and lower grills, spotty protectors, factory standard ipod sync. Next will be 60lb injectors, new pistons and rods, billet oil pump, bosch fuel pump and 3L surge tank, bigger water pump, cat and dump and exhaust mods and Rapid's plenum, increase in piping size, custom tune which wont happen for sometime now with 5 kids, dads not aloud to spend anymore for a long while I've been told. Im happy where it is for now...VERY happy. Hope you all like the pics. Cheers

Just been looking over old threads and saw the one where it said the initial workshop manual when first released for the BA T were looking at 1000k to purchase it. I literally fell over. I have the same on CD and got it for $30 it is so informative I can pull everything apart bolt by bolt and screw by screw and then put it back together again. Big difference in $$$$ plus being on softcopy don't have to worry about book getting wrecked or dirty, just print out the pages I need depending on what im working on. A must for every T owner.

Missus just rang, centre management made full report, she then was sent to security who came out and confirmed definitely a shopping trolley and took photos and are going to view cctv even though the cameras only cover certain areas (probably not where I was). She's been told the owner of the centre will contact her in the next 7-14 days, wont hold my breath but we'll see how we go, least they didn't say nothing we can do! There was a reason I sent the missus up there. She can pull them across the counter and slap em in the face just by using the words that come out of her mouth if you know what I mean lol This was westpoint shopping centre Blacktown, I am the same now. If I EVER see anyone do it to anyone else I will use this situation as an excuse to cause serious bodily harm to the lowlife. I agree they probably saw that my baby was the best looking automobile in the carpark and got jealous, if they only realized if they got of the ice and got ajob they could afford one, one day themselves. Hopefully if it was one of them that did it they OD!! will let you guys know how I go

I am hearing quite alot recently that fellas are blowing their T's up (6 last week alone!) from a mechanic mate that works on quite a few of them together with drifting rice burners This is the BA's BF's Im talking about here. The main reasons are as follows: generic flash tune couldn't care less about what fuel they use & caning it in the hot weather Now I have a 2004 BA XR6 T and I drive it day in and day out like I stole it (until I stuffed by back at work, now I cant drive at the moment so the missus does and she has been taught to drive it the same way), I too have a generic tune (3 of them 8, 10 & 12lb variations). I have a capa that I bought from intune motorsport with the 3 generic tunes. Always had intentions of getting custom but until I'm given a valid reason, I am more than happy with it the way it is. I have cut a hole (about the size of a fist, maybe a little bigger) in the front of the airbox (simple mod but SO effective), also capped off the bov so the hot air don't get pumped back into the turbo (gives the sneeze sounds, bloody awesome lol) besides that I gapped the plugs as per tuner specs (0.. I NEVER use anything less than vortex 98, never have, never will. Instead of fanging the beast all day long in the heat and wonder why your doing valve springs, try monitoring your temperature and when you see it climbing beyond half - BACK OFF. It wont take long for it to cool down, especially driving around. Once it cools back down, then cane it. You can put in a different thermostat that can keep it cooler, I;ll be looking at a bigger and better cooling system down the track. Now back to valve springs. The first internal you need to look after before gaining big kw (least around and over the 300kw to play it safe) is the valve springs, this is the most common drama that I have found listening to my freakish high performance mechanic mates. I have finally decided to do everything on my baby myself. Other grease monkeys cant be trusted and my mates are just too booked out. Now im no genius when it comes to mechanics (im getting there) I just replaced the coils, spark plugs and did and oil change all on my own last weekend and wow did I enjoy it. You just have so much more fun with it when you know the reason it is running so well isn't because of the 100's of dollars spent at the mechanics but because YOU spent the time and did it yourself, very liberating. Once I jumped into it I realized it wasn't that scary (I did get hold off a softcopy of the workshop manual which is so informative you could pull the car apart bolt by bolt and wire by wire and then put it back together again, its awesome). When I did the plugs I found 5 ngk's and 1 ford original. Cant trust any mechanic really!!! The ford one was in the 6 port so it was obviously TOO HARD for the monkey to get it out and obviously thought I wouldn't find out. Think about valve springs before bigger injectors etc etc, its better safe than sorry. Oil change every 5000km no more. These cars are meant to be driven hard, but they will only take it for as long as you look after it with regular maintenance and services. Hopefully this helps some of the new guys (and some of the oldies that should know better lol). Again these cars are the ducks guts, but if they aren't looked after - they wont last.

There are the no responsibility signs as you first come in. Honestly I doubt we'll get anywhere but the missus is going to argue for them to force their shops to have the trolleys you need to pay for, that way people will have to return them and just not push them away not giving a sh*t where it goes or what it does.

Nuh no cameras. But try hards driving and walking around with security on their shirts - absolutely useless. Missus is going to make formal complaint tomorrow. See how we go I suppose. An auto paint shop down the road occasionally do diy classes on how to fix situations such as this. Only problem is with my back I can hardly walk so that's going to be a bit tricky at the moment. Find out end of next week if I'll be sliced and diced (they need to extract a disc and replace it with spaceage crap so I'll be out of action for 2-3 months but the thought of my baby being hurt really sticks in the side. I'm sure all you guys know where im coming from. All I can say is they are lucky I didn't catch them cause if I did we were parked on the 3rd floor and I wouldn't have thought twice throwing them over the edge with the current meds Im on. Just sh*ts me someone that couldn't be bothered to work their arse off to afford something nice trashes someone else's that can.

Currently on workers comp with a pretty bad back injury, went to rehabilitation gym class last Monday, (had my wife take me cause I cant drive at the moment), we parked in the shopping centre carpark where the gym is located, making sure we parked a mile away from everyone as we always do. Anyways I went to the gym whilst the missus went school exercise book shopping for the kids. We were there for about an hour. Finished up our business and went back to the car, put the babies in and drove home. Next morning the missus had to take me to my regular workcover doc for review. When she has gone to get the car out of the garage all I can hear is $%%@*%#*(%^#. I'm thinking this ain't good and said whats the matter. She replies "there's a dent and DEEP scratches on the drivers side passenger door. I immediately rush around (with the screwed back it was a sight to see me move that quick) and had a look and my heart dropped. When we had returned to the car the day before we had not bothered to look around the car as we always do when another car is parked next to us. But there was no cars near us when we got there and none there when we came back + putting the babies in the car we were obviously pre-occupied. There is not a doubt in my mind that some ^#(%#(^&%# lowlife has been on the other side of the carpark with a trolley and has just pushed it away after finishing with it. Obviously it has gone slamming into my door, they have seen it or heard it at least and have looked around for any witnesses, after realizing there weren't any, they pissed off. Has anyone else been in this predicament? Did you confront centre management? Get anywhere? Just be interesting to know if someone has already been down the road I am considering travelling?
