Nah when the car is idling is there bearings in the power sterring pulley the noise is weird I first thought it was the turbo but when I put me ear over the pump I can hear it louder

Hey all turned on me car after it has been sitting for about three weeks (I went on holiday) and a loud noise like a chainsaw coming from around the power sterring pump area??? Now what could this be

it sits in front hasn't been totally cut away I am working on removing mine and having a modified bumber support bar made up

I already have insurance RACV and they didnt seem to mind but it is expensive but oh well

yeah but I always wanted the cooler to sit like this nice and flush and now I still got a lot of room behind the cooler for like a trans cooler or some other coolers and I didnt want to really move the air con lines so I thought this would be the best way to go

Well yeah lol where the intake mouth is on the bar, that has been trimed by 4.5cm and the metal support bar behind the front bar had to be altered took a while to get it to fit, due to the fact I didnt know anyone that has done it I had to keep altering it so it fit right

Hey all what ya think of me new cooler it is a PWR 600x300x73 it was not the easist to fit but I recon it came out allright

this guy said he was the first anyone has seen even garret came out and had a look he supposibly "melted the internals" of the turbo $2200 for the repair job

Hey all, I was at the shops to day when I spotted a guy perving on me xr turbo went over to him and he asked me if I had a turbo timer, becasue he blew his up, I was shocked and asked did he always give his car a hiding he replied no his car has done 105,000 km has anyone heard of more of these cases?

Hey all I have seen this fruity guy around my neck of the woods good ol' broady I am a fellow p plater driving a xr6 turbo as well, I saw him floor it doesnt have that much power I had a chat to him at maccas one day total fool I asked him what mods he has done he replied everything lol 90k spent no chance the intercooler looks like it was brought from asia not adelaide lol, I dont blame him for selling it I would as well lol, but 57k is too much I will make a deal with him I will give him 15 grand and a packet of smokes what ya recon!! lol

well thanks guys looks like I might get out the old grinder lol and punish the front bar if all goes well I will post some pics of the destruction lol thanks again.

well I know the quality of this is good cant see the end tanks bowing off but yeah I paid 400 never used off a mate through me work who brought it and ran out of money so had to sell it, I was thinking of modifying the front bar so I can install it in front of the chassis rail and removing the foglights to run the piping through it so I dont have to modify the ac lines and that.

Hey all, got a good deal on a PWR intercooler through me work dimensions are 600x300x75 I was thinking to get the full potential out of the cooler I should get the front bar modified to give a bit of an extra mouth to it, any ideas on what should be modified so the sucker can fit in there would be helpful thanks

It's fun at first but it becomes a pain in the arse getting stopped all the time and having people ask if they can have a look, or being in a hurry and getting stopped and being asked a hundred questions about your car. Most times when people ask me about my car now I tell them it's stock and has a noisy alternator . But I'd have a guess and say for an xr6T to push 38orwkw it's need a big intercooler and a decent exhaust, both would have stood out like dog's balls. ← Well it did have a big cannon coming out the back and the intercooler wasnt the biggest just looked like one of the those bolt on ones that connect to the same piping
