Hey guys I have been browsing the posts for how much oil I need to put in my t56 as it is going to the shop tomorrow to get put in, I saw one post that said 4 ltrs and another said 4.6 if I could get that cleared up it would be great. Also I am just wondering what oil I need to buy tomorrow do most people still run transmax ? Cheers, Daniel

I run 44 psi in mine, dont do much for traction lol but if u want to save your rims, but roads here in the north are on the SH*T side of things.

If someones sure that the acetone wont hurt the paint I will try that, or I should just try it on a inconspicous place such as under the bonnet somwhere ?

Hey guys I know there is about 2 billion topics on this but I have read through them but am still confused as to what I need for this conversion. For starters I bought a mal wood built t56 second hand of someone and he was using the same yolk as he had in his 5 speed but in some of the posts they say u need a XR8 yolk true ? Secondly I have had the clutch and flywheel sitting in a box for a while should I get my flywheel machined before I put it in ? With the reverse lockout is there something I need to get from ford to hook this up or should it all be there ? They are the main things I think I wanted to address, but if there is anything else I need to complete this conversion please let me know, as I have the t56, the cross member, the mal wood option 3. Cheers, Daniel Also if there is anyone in Townsville that has done this, or is some kind of gearbox guru let me know, there will be some cartons in it

Thanks to all you guys for your comments they have been most helpful, I think I will go ahead and get the clutch, its a pitty I wont be getting the great service from Mal Woods workshop as it is a fair hike from sunny North Queensland :oohwoah: But I am sure the clutch will live up to my expectations. I am looking at buying a Mal Woods option 1 for my t5, and I would just like to see if anyone else has got one in their car and what kind of power they are running and what the clutch feels like compared to stock, cause I am looking at running somewhere around 280-300 rwkw. Cheers, Daniel

I will be going but I wont be entering my car as it is only stock as a rock and cant be bothered paying the 40 or 60 dollars what ever it is to enter, but will be interesting in driving with everyone if we want to all go together ?
