acetone and a wad of cotton wool, and about three hours. Loctite make a super glue primer that would also get it off but i think that would relieve you of your paint as well......

You should be able to pick it off once dry. The only thing that disolves it is Acetone, but that could harm the paint.

I would wait till it drys and then pick it off as it gets brittle when dry.

If someones sure that the acetone wont hurt the paint I will try that, or I should just try it on a inconspicous place such as under the bonnet somwhere ?

I would be about 80% sure IT WILL damage the paintwork.

If you have polish on the paint, it should allow the superglue to be picked off.

I would try and get it off with a little cutters and cheese cloth, then polish it.

Leave it. With the UV we get up this way it should start to break down all on its own. Just before christmas try picking it off. In the mean time, drive more, worry less.

What ever you do, DO NOT use Acetone as it will remove paint. I have used it to do just that on a set of stainless powder coated handle bars on my road bike.

Go to your local panel shop - and try prepsol - I think that may help remove the glue - and doesnt harm the paint, or... they may have another idea for you.

Come to my place daniel and I'll smash it off with a hammer!

Seriously though dont use acetone. I would say wait also and it will flake off, its fricking hot enough here so it shouldn't be a problem.
