Just thought I'll post this, driving to work friday morning heading down pinjarra rd traveling in the right hand lane and a B-double Boral truck in the left hand lane drifted to the left shoulder of the rd and 36 wheels flicked loose stones at my car. Front bar has about 100 stone chips,fog light protector broken,bonnet is coverd in stone chips as is the left side of my car,a few stones have even bounced of the bonnet and chip the spoiler,also a chip in the windscreen. I shat my self and pulled as far right as possible and went to far and hit the gutter and damaged a rim as well.So spoke to the panel shop yesterday and said the whole left side of the car ,bonnet,right guard ,spoiler,front bar need respraying,new fog light protector,new GT stripes and a new rim later and she'll be back to new. Just have to be with out my car for 4 days thank god for insurance

mines the same.... 1st to 2nd... on a real cold morning it sorta grinds in complained about this to ford at 3000km complimetary check up thingo but they said it should losen up... I now have 20000km and its still there but only in winter... will see what happens at 30000km ← same here my 6 speed is very notchy 1st to 2nd on cold mornings brought same transmaz Z for but haven't put it in yet. I'll do it this weekend and see what happens

Spotted a silver XR6T FLOSS 21 on the way to work last night on pinjarra Rd in Mandurah Wanted to have a run but he/she wasn't interested

It does have a air intake under the headlight. I thougt this was restricting the air into the motor as it is a small air intake.

Hi guys, getting a cold air intake system in the not to far future.I've been looking at either the SS bigmouth or the harrod system.does any one have a picture of either one so I can see how they fit and how they look fiited in the engine bay and also what are your thoughts on either one.Aslo I was thinking a K&N air filter but both parties said they were worthless and I sould go for the BMC air fiter (or B&M I cant remember ) this true or they just pushing there product cheers One more thing whats the factory cai that fits on the right (looking into the engine bay)theres two white squares where it gets bolted down and the rubber seal on the bonnet bends to suit the cai(see pictures attached). Is it off the typhoon or GT's ?. Does it work just as well as the aftermarket ones and does any one have a picture of this setup. thank again guys

I was in the same boat as yourself so I took both for a test drive and it took a lot of test driving in both the 8 and the T(about 2 weeks)and it was the 8 I went for so take both for a spin and see what you want not what people tell you to get.

Well guys sounds like it was a good day had by all.I'm just pissed I had work and couldn't come and meet the gang and take the XR for a nice long run .Well hopfully next cruise I'll be available. Been checking the photos out and theres some nioce looking XR's.Who owns the Mercury silver XR with the Gmax rims Very smart looking T there mate loving that deep dish look Well Hopfully be free and meet you guys next cruise

Hi, I am just hoping someone in this forum can help im Basicly trying to find a way to get more ponys without vioding my 5 year warrenty. So I would like to know what part or parts FPV use to get the extra 30Kw's on the Boss V8's.I have searched the web and this site and found no info that helps me. I am hoping its just bolt on I.e. throttle body or different intake manifold and not internal parts. If they are just a bolt on and I fit them(The FPV part whateva it may be that gets the extra Kw's) then technicaly there shouldn't be a reason for Ford to Viod the Warrenty should there? the motors are built by FPV anyways . Hope you guys can help and thanks in advance guys :tosser:

My seat has started lifting at the back showed the dealer and getting it fixed uder warrenty. been waiting for about 6 weeks and the dealer still haven't recieved my new seat trim

My silver facia from ASL come today looks pretty good although I think they are aftermarket. SO hopfully I'll have it in and all the parts painted silver come wednesday or thursday I'll post pics when its done

Hi people, Just got a question on the ASL facia as im pretty keen on getting one for my falcon.Are they genuine ford ones painted silver or aftermarket item. if they are aftermarket how good is the quility and fit.Aslo is the silver close to that of the silver trim above the glovebox. thanks again in advance guys

Twin cam v. Quad cam, don't know what else is different though.... or I am full of sh1t..... ← Fairmont V8's are Twin Cam(3V per pot I think 1 inlet 2 Exhuast))the XR8 and GT/GT-P are Quads cams(4V per pot) P.S. The V8 will smoke you noting beats cubic inches
