I got to drive a C63 and a CLK63 AMG today at Sandown. UNREAL! Not quite as quick as mine in a straight line but a totally different car. Suspension, steering, power delivery and everything else in a car is just 10 fold any aussie built car (+ the $). The C63 has 336kw/600Nm and the CLS63 has 378kw/630Nm The highlight of the day was the SL65 AMG with it's twin turbo V12 pumping out 450kw and an electronically limited 1000Nm. This thing didn't get on the track but was driven lightly around. This instructor, Peter "Hollywood" Hackett is a total champ and is the main presenter, and the instructors are the likes of Peter Brock's son James, Larry Perkins son, and a whole lot of other blokes who drive or have driven in the V8 supercar championships and a whole host of other professional races/cars. Obviously this is with ESP off. I tried to take it off when I drove it but he smacked my hand away lol Enjoy! Yeah it was good. He was up my arse on the exit then he pushed in front of me to get the front spot at the lights. I was right behind him, we took off and when I changed into 2nd gear I was at his rear bar, by the time I backed off at the top of 2nd I was in front of him... DESTROYED!
