I went down the road of turboing a n/a engine its its been running great. I even went down the road of ripping out the t5 and dropping in a new t56. Everyone ask why. Well simple answer is if you love the car u can do anything with it for the right amount of money. Now im running 318kw atw and yes I could have sold the car and bought a turbo but hey its only money why not have fun spending it, we all work hard enough for it just my 2cents worth

I spent a few days pulling out all the interior and door trims and dynamating everything. Best money I could spend on my stereo. If you plan on keeping the car a while its very worth while. Then again I also over $8k of stereo and multimedia equipment in my car as well. I just bought a few bulk packs of ebay to do the job.

So if I replace my na pistons with aftermarket ones ill be fine. So the rods and crank are the same units. Im planning for 300kw but I may want to bring it over that at a later stage maybe 320-340kw. So I just wanted to make sure there wasnt anything else holding the motor back

This question is sort of related but. Ive got a BA N/A xr6 that has been converted to turbo im about to put a new t56 into it was also looking for some more power from the engine. Is the pistons and crank the only difference between my na block and xr6t block. Just wanted to see if there is anything I can get replaced (eg rods,pistons crank) to bring me up to 300kw.

My car has been converted to turbo. I have spoken to mal woods and ferntree gully about this I just wanted to make sure it was possible and what is required and if any one has done it too a na and what performance gains they got I know that the diff gears between the na and xr6t are different but also there is also a difference also in the tail shafts.

Im looking to but a six speed gearbox into my na xr6 that has been turbo'd. But apparently there is a big difference in the diffs used in a ba na xr6 vs the ba xr6t. Can I simply change the diff gears out of a xr6t and install them into my diff Thanks

Do you know what the resolution the icc needs to be I also run the dvd onto 13 other screens ranging from 5"w 7"w 8"w

Ive got my jvc head unit running through the premium icc unit. Question I want to know is when I run mp3 through my dvd player is goes to full screen put when I run dvd video clips through the screen I don't get it going to full screen unless I zoom in. I'm guess its something I need to do when I convert my video clips from avi or mpg to dvd. Does it need to be setup to a certain resolution. Im assuming if I convert the videos to ntsc instead of pal it might fix the issue Just thought id ask to see if anyone else has had this issue Thanks

Ive got a NA xr6 which has been converted to Turbo. It currently runs just under 240kw at the wheels and im look for a little more power in the not too distant future and wondering if the pump is up for it Are the fuel pumps the same between the n/a and turbo?

1 x Each Door (4) 1 x Dash (Colour Screen ICC) 1 x Roof 6 x Boot 1 x Each Headrest (2) I got the screens directly sent to me via a manufacture in China I have a friend that can get me anything directly from the manufacture. The screens themselves are very similar to viscom units. And hell they were very cheap good quality screens. And basically why not buy that many of them for the price These operate of separate switches to isolate different screens in the car I got the head unit fiberglassed into the dash so it flows in nicely with dash lines. Had this and the entire centre section resprayed phantom to match the exterior of the car. The NOS bottles are real brand new Later down the track they maybe hooked up and function. Not 100% sure but at the moment they are purely cosmetic. I havn't got a photo off it but I have an xbox fiberglassed into the back parcel tray which has been trimmed n the same phantom trim as my sub box and interior are.

I had my car in recently into the trim shop to get some additions to my xr6 turbo Got 14 Monitors in Total Xbox Custom Fibre Glassed Dash for the Headunit

you will just have to wait and see if I can afford all the extras by then most of its done. just a few more additions under the bonnet and it finished for the show

I did a NA turbo conversion on mine and ive currently got 237KW at the wheels at 6psi Should get more once I get my new cooler & injectors done along with the plazerman cross pipes that are already on it

The DVD player ive got doesnt have a screen its just a mp3/dvd player. Im going to split the video signal to run through the dash icc, Roof Mount Screen, 2 x Headrest Screens, 4 Door Screens and 4 Boot Screens. Setting up my car for promotional use for my mates company

How hard are they to wire up I havnt got my colour screen yet so im looking to do it in the next few weeks
