  1. just dirt bikes for me, as im a loose unit on the road. current rides 04 gas gas 450 fse (fuel injected enduro) 04 gas gas 250 2 smoke. (soon to be sold) I have a few others that I have for some mates to ride xr400 and a kdx200. past rides have been cr500's (92 rwhp) built it do the finke wr 500 just as fast as the cr but 10 times the viabrations and 1/2 the handling every thing else from xr75 to full works yz250. the older I get the smoother I become (have to no choice), I still take some young wipper snappers out and flog the sh*t out of them every now and then. You should see the look on ther face when you pull one handed a 6th gear wheelie and slap em on the helmet on the way past or bust a 80 foot ramp, cracks me up every time.
  2. im in for a tweak. if sean gets 300rwkw then book me in for 300.4 rwkw's. (the same but slightly better) he he he
  3. na definatly not this weekend
  4. am I right in believing dynowog is coming to brisbane on 25th aug to 27th aug. Can anyone confirm this.

  6. can the deal, if he cant/wont find the price out then walk away. Even if the new model is heaps dearer (it wont be) u will still be able to get ba2 proberly cheaper as run outs anyway.

No but a decent time slip to back it up would be a good start Because RESULTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi Jeff, I'd say that the guy's he's been tuning for at fist will be pretty keen go racing unlike myself. I was'nt really that fussed about it. I'm sure the times will come when their ready macka <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I had a tuner do try and custom tune my edit and got to 222rwkw's and it was valve bouncing at about 5300rpm and running lean, "mate you need injectors and valve springs". The wog just laughed, he then tuned it (with better afr's and lower boost) to 260rwkw's in a mk2 auto no probs and the sucker runs right to the the 6500rpm limit. Im not interested in time sheets but when the car will light up at 50-60 k's im sure theres the correct amount of grunt. Also thru in a wog cooler and again its everything he said it was. "The results speak for themselves"

2 words that will fix everything FLAT TAX Simple and effective, we overly complicate the current system and this leads to explotation and evasion. Australian's an the whole, seem to treat tax evasion as a sport, and although I am an active participant, on a moral level I don't agree. That said I will deduct, and bend the tax laws as much as I can.
  9. unless you can prove that the council had been informed about the said pothole. Then and only then do u have a chance. Let your insurer sort it out.
  10. search autospeed.com.au as they seemed have all angles covered and also sell the I/c spray kits
  11. It's obvious you have never ridden a bike in a jungle of cars, The benefit of loud pipes on a bike is if the car drivers cant see you then as sure as hell they will hear you. And like cars there are a few idiots on bikes out there that ruin it for everybody else. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ok window up stereo cranking, can you hear the bike? I cant even her a siren let alone the bike, and u cant hear them till they past any way. Loud bikes/cars are an ego thing and this safety issue is pretty lame. Im a member of a few bike forums and this loud=safe argument has been shot too pieces a few times.
  12. 5 of em, that would have to be way more than one pound of crack
  13. most of you guys would sh!t if you saw my yoot. Every spoiler has no paint on the underside (including the rear). I was initally stressed about it,but that's what you get if you lower it 70mm. After a lot of testing, I came to the conclusion that the scatches do SFA to the handeling or the over all power of the car (before and after dyno sheets can be supplied) so stuff worring, now I just do in it what I brought it for (flogging the guts out of it) and carring bikes and crap to site.
  14. im a builder and the most common term leveled at me is "how much for cash", some of this cash pays for her dinners, holidays, clothes etc for the kids and some pays for the mods to my car. Spend it all cause you cant take it with you and if little johnny ever finds out im screwed way more by him than by her anyway. So yeah she has no idea what I spend on my car. It's an equalibrium thing, she dont ask and I dont tell and all is ballanced in the world.

put a suit jacket on that I wore to conference at the casino 6mths prior & found $3220.00 in chips still in the pocket. Man I must have been smashed and on a roll because in the morning I woke to find my room covered in 50's (over $5000 actually) still can't rember most of the night, but it was blackjack I know that much.
  17. one thing to consider with the speed limit thing, in regards to the gov not changing from the 70's, we now have prob 6 times the cars on the road at any one time compared to then.
  18. just a quick opinion, if u can drive a car well it dosn't matter if its 74' rust bucket or the latest GT. The problem will always remain that many of our drivers CAN'T drive well. I think this is especially so with young drivers (not all but many) so any program that teaches them DRIVING SKILLS (not restrictions) is a good thing. PS: I think gran turismo is the biggest contributer to accidents for young people. Remember life ain't a race track cause theres sh1t comming the other way.
  19. education is so much better than persecution, my 1st car was an xa gt, but mum and dad made me do an advanced driving course. They both new I was a psycho on/in anything that had wheels. I still find it hard to accept that the gov cant see the answer to the problem TRAINING, and fix our crap roads. I had 8 reps working for me and about 12 other people who had access to company cars, the qld gov made us spend a percentage on "training", so I sent all these people to an advanced driving course, (the reps did a longer and more advanced course). The result was a drop in premiums and over the next 3 yr period we had only one small bingle, the reps all did about 75-100k per year so we were really happy. When I was young I was invinciable, ive got the scars to prove it. I agree whole heartedly with a tiered licience system and restriced power on each licence level. This shoud apply to society as a whole not just the young drivers. The Gov will say "its too expensive to test all licenced drivers" bla bla bla. Just my 22c worth (inc GST)
  20. my passenger seat headrest viabrates like a b**ch and makes a funny noise, the dealer can look at it next service
  21. my bro ran over a 2 week old gsxr1000 with a loader, the mechanic parked in front and ran inside to get somthing and jas started it up and ran over the bike as u cant see straight infront. The worst thing was, for a minute or so he didnt know if he had run the owner over as well. The bike wasnt covered by the mines insurance because he wasnt parked in the allocated parking area. Jas said the bike was real flat.
  22. my ute will chirp with the std shift 1-2 , and if im really up it I can get em to light up 1-2 shift if its cool and mod box switched on. The ute is closer to 240rwkw than 400. I run 245 x18's toyo z's so the tyres are not crap.
  23. reset the springs as lowering blocks are cheap and nasty. As for towing? depends on how heavy the trailer is. Today at 120 with two bikes two blokes and gear the exhaust bottomed out on the h-way, so dont go too low. As for ride its quite comfortable and not harsh. The ultimate would be an airbag set up but its big coin but you can adjust pressures according to your needs and it will handle as good or better than a sedan.
  24. mines lowered 70mm in the rear and no axle tramp. It only has 6500ks but the springs were reset I didnt use blocks.
  25. mines shockwave, 70mm lower at the rear, 35 at the front. 18" chromies 2 cai, removed ctr muffler and capa edit. 3" builders racks, tint 6 stacker sub mats shift kit and fpv wheel. Valve springs letting me down, so soon it will be valve springs and injectors and aim for 270-285 rwkw cause that's enough in a work ute.
