  1. Yes, it's now a Caltex but it doesn't have Vortex 98, only Vortex 95. Nearest 98 RON is Optimax @ Shell Fyshwick. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think BP at chisholm would probably be closer and I think that have 98 (it's only 5 minutes away from Gull \ Caltex) if you drove slowly... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> As is Caltex in Calwell, which has 98 and is just 2 roundabouts from the highway... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Optimax Extreme (100 octane) is at Shell Dickson too. Used it today, seems crisper. Find out the power on Saturday.
  2. I'm off to Goulburn and back today so I'll arrive back in Canberra with low fuel, so I'll put some in and give a report.
  3. Cyclists are a PITA though. They ride too close to cars, and in heavy traffic with a garbage truck on one side and cyclists on the other, it's hairy going 80k's and I don't want to slow to 40k's just because someone wants to save fuel.
  4. You're right mate, yours isn't as low as some I've seen. I don't look at yours and think your wheels have disappeared somewhere! Wasn't a shot at you Spoony, each to their own. I've copped plenty of flak over my rims looking way too small for the deep dish look. BTW, what's your ride quality like? Must be like a bloody big go kart!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If I wasn't crook with some form of sickness onset by bad pizza the day before, I would've taken you for a drive yesterday. Sorry about that, was going to call you but was sick and started to forget and fade by the end of the day. Its not too bad, still comfy enough that my better half doesn't complain when we go driving.
  5. Have the same setup on my car. Looks heaps better without being too low (too low meaning, in my case anyway, having tyres going up under the guards - I hate that look ).
  6. Who wants to come to Canberra next Friday for a marathon detail of mine? I'll buy you a 6 pack
  7. But I get impatient... It's hard being a participating member of the I want it right now generation... I'm even thinking of taking on a second job just feed my new found addiction Has this same irrationality afflicted all you guys too? It's just crazy... Jack Edit- That's a phat green meany you have there matey... nice <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh yeah, if I want something I want it today, it's a bad habit.
  8. Well, my suspension was $2000 fitted, wheels were $3600 (20"Lenso Argis) so do it $5600 at a time :tosser: Pedders Xtreme adjustable coil-overs <div class='bbimg'> </div>
  9. What about Adam and I? We're alright aren't we? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't take it personally, everybody sh!ts me.. :tosser: You are fine :tosser: , but Adam....... I mean really ..... he drives a sh*tsubishi for gawd sakes. There is no hope for him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> With a cannon exhaust
  10. What about Adam and I? We're alright aren't we?
  11. Must suck to live in the north side. It really is an awful place to visit.
  12. I'm a Feb 05 build and I have the vents, hoorah!
  13. I'm mortified when I hear my friend's wages. It's depressing. If you strive and try hard, you will succeed!
  14. It's the jack that connects your garden hose to the tap I think?
  15. I agree, were are in the process of looking for a Network Engineer with Cisco and Microsoft skills ($60K plus super) and basically I have not seen a resume that is worth calling in for a interview. They all claim they have Cisco certifications and Microsoft certifications and in interview they would be lucky to tell you how to configure a ip address on Ethernet interface. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe if you wearn't asking for so little, you'd get better results. Serious, in this day in age, an engineer with certified Cisco and Microsoft - even base CCNP and MSCE should be getting more than that. I'd be looking for $75k + super. Unless you're hiring someone straight out of TAFE/CIT/whatever tech, and they have no work experience.
  16. Anyone with a T isn't poor
  17. Meany Just kidding, but I totally agree with those statements. Especially people who come straight out of University thinking they're the bees knees and sure, they MAY be good at coding specific things they were taught at University, but when it comes to real world programming they have no clue.
  18. What sort of tech are you if you don't mind me asking? Could be good social networking.
  19. No offence, but that's shocking pay, especially for Sydney! Glad I went down the network admin path and not the programming path. Also glad I don't work for an IT company (for some reason, if you work in an IT company, you get paid less?) and work for a large medical firm. Medical for the win.
  20. I was under the impression, and the manual states this, that the turbo should be run on 95 RON, and running it on anything below this can void the warranty? I think that's right? Could be worth checking.
  21. Wow noone replied, yes they do have the same gearbox.
  22. Nah, nothing will go wrong. Mine has done it for 15,000km's. I've had the tailshaft replaced 3 times now which fixed the problem for about 2 weeks then it comes back, I've just stopped worrying about it. And for 15,000km's or so and it still holds up strong. That being said, it goes in next Monday to get it fixed and I'll give it one last go. It'll probably doing whilst you take off as well if you put your window down and listen carefully.
  23. Here is mine Go the envi!
  24. Mine does that too :( It doesn't really help hey? Damn that sucks the big one, wish I knew that before. Oh well, it's pretty I guess.
  25. Hahahahaha! I have photos of my phone of that car in the Woden Plaza (Westfield Woden ) underground car park. I think from memory it has Ralliart written on the back window.
