I got my $47,000 XR6T for $36,000 through fleet discount. Be careful with Envi because they're stopping Envi production in March. I got the last auto Envi with Premium sound in Australia that has been built (comes next Monday), so you'll be very lucky to get it in time. Works out awesome if your organisation has FBT exemption (I work for the Ambulance service), so it's fleet discount + FBT exempt + GST exempt + before income tax and I also get insurance for $900/year which would've been $3800 a year privately because I'm 19.

Central coast would be cool, around the 18th/19th/20th is good for me because the missus wants to go up there with her friends at much the same time. Does the central coast incorporate Newcastle as well?

Don't get me wrong, I'm all up for cruising. Please don't get some faggy looking set of chromies (not all chromies look gay, but most do). Make sure they are clean and mean! Also, 275's on the rear are your friend. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 99% of chrome wheels look gay. I won't be getting chrome. They'll be silver or shadow chrome (which is like silver but better ) I'm a firm believer in clean smooth cars. Edit: Damn, they've pushed delivery back until the 7th of March. :(

Only 1 or 2 days away until I take delivery sooo very excited! Except the dealer fitted 18's were $5000! (The same 18's from the factory) but not to worry, it'll be a trip up to Tempe to get some 19's or 20's.

Formula 1 is clutchless and they're rather speedy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> NOT TRUE. F1 are full manual gearbox AND they have a clutch. It is the clutch that is (servo controlled) "automatic". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But it's still just toggles behind the steering wheel correct? I don't watch F1 so please don't shoot the messenger. However, I spoke to the dealer today and they found the last envi XR6T auto w/ premium sound in Australia and I should take delivery in 2-3 days

One more quick question before I decide, does the auto put you into the back of your seat when you accelerate hard? Eg, I have an auto VS and it doesn't put you into the back of your seat, but my mate has a manual EF, and his car does. Does the auto put you into the back of your seat and give you that rush?

So, auto is faster, but it seems not hugely faster. But the manual is more fun. I hate decisions :( but I think I might go with the manual just for the fun factor and at the end of the day, auto or manual, it'll still be a damn fast car that'll put me in the back of my seat.

Hi guys, I'm about to sign the paperwork tomorrow or the day after for my XR6T (Envi, Premium sound and the 18" Alloys) however, I still cannot decide between automatic or manual. Which offers the more fun whilst driving? Which is quickest? What do you guys own? If you own the auto, do you ever wish you had the manual, and vice versa? And anything else you might like to comment on? I drive an automatic VS now, but sometimes drive a manual Prado, I found driving the Prado to be fun because it's full control of the vehicle.
