Time for some Mod's then ! 14sec isnt that fast these days. You will find a new taxi isnt that much slower than a T or gen3 and you really have to gun it to keep ahead. that's why I love my moded T...I can be in any gear, any rev, any distance and the T will have your VW made in the shade

It could be a taste thing. APS have a "safe side" reputation. They were one of the pioners for the XR6T and maybe wanted to keep a good reputation with the tools available at the time. New things come and good on them ! Remember a 96 or 97 HSV had 185 fly wheel kw

The spokes on those wheels are too "skinny" for my taste. Do you realise the car will be slower and less powerfull with bigger wheels? I've got std xr6 17s and I now need to swap the front and rear tyres after 20000km of APS2 fun. I'm getting old now but I remember an old saying...it went something like.. The V8 sound is tough ! I've seen a 500hp (wheels) 351 wind up....its an animal ! I've seen a 500hp (wheels) 200sx wind up..not much noise but fast. My point is that although I would much rather a V8 noise ... I can't go past the fast factor ! Let's face it (turbo 6 kicks ass)... I beat a 250 moto (he used drag clutch take off and all !) off the mark the other day...I hit 4000rpm and GONNNNE I see plenty of loud V8's around on the street and no one wants a go. Maybe it's because the ute keeps farting..it goes like, ppsshhh guuulllp guulp gulp.

You would think that under the "sedan" part of the car it wouldn't be too different but because of the T's big long single pipe off the turbo, there would have to be extra bits put into the NA setup to make it fit.

What about spending the extra $30k on mod's for the T ! Oh, well, This is a Ford site!

Don't worry about it Dingah. I think part of selling involves tuners "promoting" their products and results to the best of their ability. I'd consider my boost levels as safe. Let me know if I'm wrong but judging from here 9.5 seems safe. I'm no expert but I do have a giggle at edit customers who tell me they get 260kw running at 14 then try to poopoo piggybacks. Isn't the real question, "what boost" ??? Can anyone tell me if running more boost is dangerous? If not, I will get the "old piggy" pummped up a bit !

Your right there mate, 270rwkw in my ol' leaf sprung work hack wasnt much chop in the twisty bits! I have some awesome short camera footage of me "phoon chasin" thru the hills. All I could smell of mine was brakes and coolant! Come on Dannopower, you can tell me...you were taking it easy on him, right? I don't think the ute goes that bad round corners but I havn't driven a sedan yet. Getting used to the turbo was fun as I have always had V8's. I had push down on the go pedal when I could only just start to see the exit of the corner and the power would arrive right when you hit the straight bit. I guess I could of used a lower gear though.

What a great day ! We had sun, sand, surf and snow all in one day. What a country! Sorry I missed dinner guy's (and girls). I cought up to the VR Late model camira wagon and some other guy in a pulsar was going ballistic at the driver. The pulsar even stopped dead in the 80 zone to give it to the commo driver as he was waiting to turn right...very funny ! Cro, I think the radio I borrowed hit your seat positioning bar as I "passed" it back to you. Let me know if the radio's ok and thanks for the use.
