that happened to me today while I was driving.. After bumping the rev limiter hard in first. When I changed to second I think I was in limp mode. I quickly put it in netural then turned it off and on again (I was on a straight road)..all better.. I have also seen a mates heavily modified T do it from a cold start. Maybe limp mode needs to be a little more robust.

3 days... They had to get it from another dealer up the road. I test drove it with 4 or so km on the clock. The bad part was not being able to choose the sound option. The sales man said, "you can only listen to one cd at a time anyway". Now I'm counting how many times I nearly crash while changing the damn cd ! Last count was about 3 times in 8 months.

hmm, Standard I can only get 550 to a tank on the highway and 220 to 300 around town! thank god fuel is sooo cheap! The book says the Ute has a bigger tank. I think it's even 10L bigger but I cant be bothered to check right now.

Hi. I get to Syd and back (ACT) on one tank with 50km to spare... So, HWY driving, I get 650 to 700km per 75L (Ute tank is bigger??). Ps: phase II, six speed.

I use a very advanced method to gauge any difference.. When the fuel warning light comes on at 100km to go and beeps at 80km to go...I notice the fuel needle is nearly on empty.. This is the same as what happened stock. So, I assume the computer is still accurate.

With a manual, what would 272kw be at the flywheel? Any idea of 1\4 mile times for a ute?

I was told to change oil anywhere from 5000 to 8000km but now I'm up to 11000. I would also like to hear sugestions on oil type.

I paid $120 for an oil and filter change at 3000km. Start at $120 and add extra labour ! I will not take the car back to Ford because of my mod's. I have a 3year(??) Ford warrenty and another 2years dealer warrenty. I will lose the dealer warrenty because I do not service with my dealer. Whose to say that I will own the car in 3years anyway.

Clutch slipping - not good! Generally tends to just get worse. When you are forced to get a new clutch, definitely time to get an upgraded clutch give it looks like you are at Phase 2. If the car is at speed, the clutch is ok. Its only when taking off from low speeds in 4th. Yeah mate...phase 2.. I was just reading of a $1200 clutch option in another thread. The clutch is ok if you rev out every gear..It just doesnt like taking off in fourth.. I'm sure there is slip in other gears but I cant notice it.
