How much power should the standard Mk2 T56 6 speed be capable of reliably handling (long term) ?Similar question for the standard clutch?This is assuming nice treatment - ie no dumping clutches etc.Any ideas?

Posted 30/05/05 06:29 AM Posted 30/05/05 06:29 AM BCL's gearbox is a modded T56, talk to him. Hes running just under 1400nm (yeah, pick your jaw up off the floor now). I'm fairly sure this is at least 60-70% or so more than the standard box would handle, on the brink of destruction...So my guess is about 800newtons. Take off 100 to be safe, 700 sounds like a nice, safe round figure.
