I dont think its too bad. Its got a funny little change low down from 1st-2nd... starting to build acceleration in first it jumps into 2nd early then builds from there.. then from 2nd, game on!

Didnt think Id be saying that!... maybe cos I havent had it long. Im sure the longer I have it it will feel like its getting slower. But ive changed the filter and it just goes awesome and sounds awesome!!... Gunna spend a little bit more doe on wheels, suspension... get it looking trick!... Not sure I cbf mucking with Warranty with a tune now. This thing stock is just awesome... ahh im in love! Im going to get beaten for this post I know it. :paladin:

Disconnected it and got a guy from work to do a few drive by's for me. tough sound!... I reckon an aftermarket exhaust would sound better though. This will certainly do for now.

Wasnt expecting my new GT to beep so loudly when locking and unlocking. its quite annoying. Can I turn this off?

Tune it up!!... I like my sound, but if I had to make the call it would definitely be tune... Plus when you tune it, you wont want you music too loud youll just wanna here your turbo spool up louder! theres your music.

Ahh yeah, Fair call.... However its ONLY doing it when reversing, never moving forwards... that's why I asked the question....

Ok cool. I was thinking about putting some better pads in anyway. When I got my VE R8 brand new in 06 the brakes werent noisy. Infact they seemed to pull up better than these... No biggy. Ill hunt for some new pads..

That doesnt really answer my question.......... nor doesnt it make much sense to me. I've never heard of comfortable brakes.

Hi all, GT is only 400kms old.. Brakes never squeak moving forward, but reversing and applying the brake gently they are quite loud. Any ideas why? Im hoping it will disappear soon. Few people looking at my new GT squeak as I reverse out of car parks... not cool!

got down and had a quick look under my GT today near the left hand rear muffler. Notices there are 3 tubes. Which one do you disconnect?... and as far as plugging it can u just fold it back over itself and cable tie it?

Congrats mate!!! Since I did the deal on mine I have only had to wait 3 days! Dont know how your going to wait that long!!! I pick up my White GT with black stripes/leather and nav tomorrow. Cant WAIT! Ill post some pics up asap. Although the weather here in Melbourne is meant to be horrible so it could be a 45 mins drive home in a storm. WHO CARES :-) Congrats again. Have you got plans with it?

So im looking at some 20" Rohana RC5 rims for my FG GT. Front only come in 9" with an offset of 35. Are these things going to fit?.... The Rears come in 9" and 10.5. Id like the widest tyre possible. Which should I go? Dam this wheel tyre business hurts me!... Just dont like the standard. Well I dont hate them but dont love them. Plus I need wider tread! Help :-)

After fitting my growler kit to my FGt ute, I couldnt get the bonnet to shut for the life of me. I was carrying on, slamming it in anger and it just wouldnt shut!! - after 15 mins of losing my Sh!T I realised I had left a socket set on top of the motor... then enjoyed looking at 2 nice high spots in my bonnet! ..... Go me.

I think Ive searched just about everywhere! .. Im looking for a set of 20 inch Staggered (10'' rears) 5 spoke SPLIT spoke In black. Its great to see you guys are doing your best to put together some affordable packages, or 'reasonably' affordable. That being said, What power Would I expect to see from my stock GT? Standard exhaust/cats be ok with this setup? Cheers.
