GT isnt far away from 1000kms. Its copped a flogging so far so im going to drain the oil and load up from some fresh!.. Whats the ducks guts?

Mate im 620kms into my GT. And I am flogging the living sh!t out of it. ive passed 2 dollars a few times, I often go to open roads and hold my foot flat down until Im really moving. In traffic I knock it down gears early. It loves it. Ive hit the rev limiter countless times. No need to baby it. Run it in hard. End of next week I will have done about 950kms and Ill be draining oils and filling up with new.

I filled up with Vpower Monday night..... Ive driven 122kms and iv got just 1/3 thru my tank. Gulp.

Spanner in the works!.. What do I do?........ Just went down and sat the matte black Bavaria BC5 up against the car. Looks bloody AMAZING. Anyway for the set with tyres, $3,500. Now I (dont ask how) ... I can get the 2 rear 9" Rspec wheels in black brand new. I'd sort of like to keep the originality of the GT and couple of others think the same... Do I Paint front wheels from grey inserts to black like the RSPEC, fit 245 nittos on the front, Fit the Rspec 9" rears with some 275s nittos, and keep the Original GT look, but also have the luxury of some fatter rears? I will be 1k better off this way too. <--- and theres my tune in 6 months after 1st serv. I cant afford the Bavaria's without selling the original wheels.... But the Bavarias look really slick. What would YOU do?

Guys, the rear is a 9" - Whats the biggest tyre you could put on?... Would a Nitto Invo 275 or 285 be fine???

Reliabilty is a big factor for me. I tuned my FG ute without thinking. Purely because it was half the price of my GT. I am abit hesitant to tune the GT. would hate for for a few things to go wrong and be up for big bucks because my warranty has has a line put through it.

I really like the TSW Mallory 4 - prob the closest thing out there to what Rob Herrod used in his proto 8... But his were 7k!....

Yeah fair call Benny!! - What sort of numbers will you be looking for in a tune?... will you want to go a little safer and keep it around the 350-360rwkw mark? I think much more than that requires injectors anyway....

What tread did you go with? I'm abit unsure about offset. Im wanting a 20.8.5 front, but I want my rear tyre to be a 285/30/20

my gut its telling me the Bavaria's 5 spoke in black.... Wish I had the coin to buy the advan F15s. (15 spoke)

Keen as mustard to get my white GT on some new wheels, and lowered. I want AD1 wheels but too much!!.. MOZ & Advan... too much...infact Advan AVS F15 is my favourite. 6k minus tread. Cant do. Come accross BAVARIA wheels! Please give me your thoughts. Firstly Im thinking Matte black. Jusssst doing my homework. Im trying to get all the info I can before making any decisions.. I just come back from a 10 min absolute FLOGGING of the thing.. come back home got out and the car STUNK... Can these be run in too hard? what can go wrong if giving it too much to early?

please excuse my ignorance. What is done to the ZF when its 'tuned'.. If I get my GT tuned, and the ZF tuned, what will they do to it? Will it be sweet long term for 380rwkw?

As soon as I saw a reply from KPM I thought 'here we go these boys will change my mind" - I just wasnt expecting the performance from this thing stock. Ive done a filter and that's it (I really felt the difference there too!!) Ill see what happens after a few thousand K's, but I just cannot describe how much I love the way this thing drives. Anyone considering a new FPV S/C needs to drive one... that is all.
