    I doubt you would hear the difference in a vid as its only a small increase in noise. Standard tune noticed no difference, the muffler has no restrictions in it so no gains there. Looks wise its 100% better, for around $120 worth it just for looks.

    CHILLR did have some genuine wheels for sale 19x9s... Highly unlikely aftermarket will be 19s, probably 20x9 or 10s IF they do them.

    Very nice mate. I think you can rewire the starter back to the key and just leave the button there, theres a guide on here somewhere...

    First thing I did to the ute was replace the speakers. Pioneer tsa6974s in rear(dont think these will fit sedan though) and tsa1604c splits in front. Made a fair bit of difference and on special was about $300. Still only bought it up to mazda3 spec though. An amp and 10" sub really made a big difference, budget another $400. If you dont want to spend big the midrange pioneer gear isnt too bad. A few good posts on here on audio/speaker installs.

    Yes you could be right, xforce website does not list one though, and you cant get twin 2.5" for FG utes, that's why I had to use the v8 exhaust. The sedan one on ebay seems a bit overpriced, v8 catback was $400. But if it doesn't need modifying could be worth paying a bit more

    If its for FG xforce dont make twin 2.5" to suit the 6, you have to get the v8 system and make your own merge pipe. The flanges, collector and pipe (I used 3.5 single from cat to system) was about $100 and welded it up myself. System was $400 + freight. Sounds good, not to loud, not to quiet.

    Apparently they are looking into doing the rspec copies in 20's. I was told to wait 2-3 months if/when they are available.

    The bottom of the f6 is 9.5cm up from bottom of tailgate. The edge of the 0 in 310 is 14cm from right hand side of tailgate. Hope that make sense.

    Bloody hell CHILLR, you must have a heavy foot , 1st tank vpower 505k 70.6L, 2nd tank 527.5k 72.3L, 3rd tank 463.3k 62.3L. Tried vortex in old ute(tuned) once and on startup ran rough and small puff black smoke, back to vpower and ran fine. Probably bad batch of fuel but I wont chance it again.

    Got a reply from fpv today and these wheels will be restricted to vin number, so no chance of getting them, unless I can find someone with an rspec who would be willing to order them for me. Such a shame fpv owners cant buy fpv wheels lol.

    Finally got around to replacing the speakers in the ute, pioneer ts-a6974s 6x9 in rear and pioneer ts-a1604c 6" splits in front. Definately worth the effort, sounds more like premium audio now :music: Still sucks had to spend an extra $300 to make it sound like the wifes mazda 3 :banghead:

    Hey Matt, have just been through this dilemma, spend money on 08 fg or upgrade to 2012 f6. Decided to go with the f6 because its brand new, has the 8" touchscreen and bluetooth for phones etc, and its an FPV, never owned one before and thought it was time to change that. Had a couple of test drives and did notice the power drop(mines 303rwkw) but its not too bad. Feels nicer to drive than the 08 but that could just be because its new. You could get a 2011 f6 for about 7k less from memory...

    No idea about sedans, give them a ring and ask for some info. The wiring was a plug in kit with no cutting or soldering. Only thing I had to do was connect the trailer plug to the cable, google "trailer plug wiring" for sites with wiring diagrams.
