  1. Scotty would love to meet you in person one day, missed out last time when I attended the Navigational thingy, you sound like a top bloke a ford lover through and through. I met some great people that day including Stardust, N/a Thunder (who has similar ambitions with his car) and of Course GOLDIE a man who cemented my interest in this site, with his insight in to qld club history and its egotistical lies. Thanks GOLDIE worth every bit of that conversationeven if it was in a carpark of Garden City Shopping Centre.

laugh out loud, VERY VERY GOOD QUESTION. I think some don't care until its done to them, then they want hearts on platters still beating, bloody morons, selfish so and soo's
  3. So does that make NEW ZEALAND the Europeans, being east of the new Continental Americas.
  4. I had the privledge of meeting IAN ( GOLDIE) and he filled in the blanks on the history of ford clubs in QLD, very informative, and I now know someone like Ian, so I can go somewhere to have certain mods done to my car, when finances are available to do so. I also think its good when SOME people disagree about s\certain things , as it helps you to keep thinking and re-evaluate certain thoughts on things, which is a really good tool in life. And its just another way to share the love for the BLUE OVAL.
  5. One thing you can be sure on these days is that, INSURANCE COMAPNIES are a law unto their own. dOENS'T REALLY MATTER WHAT STATE ANY MORE they will do as they please, and the government just sits back and lets it happen. Mind you there are alot of young people out there spoiling it for others because they don't realise the dangers of their inadequate driving skills, they believe themselves to be a V8 supercar superstar, so I sought of understand why insurances companies do it, but like I sAID it spoils it for the others.
  6. http://www.funny-funny-pictures.com/insanity/ I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO THIS ABSOLUTELY SWEET SOUNDING RACE CAR.
  7. So well said. But you know even if you get a car like this insured under your mums name, you know if you crash it they will investigate to see who drives the car most of the time and if they finds out it was you TBALLER Vince, you won't see a single dollar. Not to mention the fact an insurance company will not insure someone your age, for a car like that, considering all the uproar by a few certain (so called) safety experts ON THE AMOUNT OF TORQUE this car has. Just thought I would share this information with you straight from the mouth of a family friend who happens to be an insurance broker. I mean I found it near impossible to purchase insurnace for my XR6 n/a when I was 24, only 1 year ago.
  8. INTHENET, I would agree with you there, but once the VORTECH supercharger goes in I will beg to differ a tad bit, LOL, but as long as its the blue oval not the lion topping the charts I am happy.

aT THE RISK OF SOUNDING LIKE AN IDIOT, DOES THE PHOON GET ANY IF POSSIBLE ADVANTAGES FROM ANY OF THE PHASE 2 3 APS KITS , sry about capitals caps was on, ain rewrtting it now. I don't know much about the turbos since I only have an N/A, but is there any components of the aps kits that the phoon could utilise????

what looks better is a sedan and ute parked next to each other, now that's a sight to remember for life. especially the Blueprint ones.

wHAT ABOUT MODIFIing the bonnet to look similar to the Xr*8 bulge, will that help to fit the BA motor in there, could look mighty tough too.

So are they going to close the loop hole or are they content with the risk of Child Fatalities

Maybe if we all donate enough money , we can open A chain of pubs and Clubs, called the "BLUE OVAL". And any donating member gets a bar tab everytime they go there. We wouild meet people all the time and get to know them even better. Have a Secured lock up car park for forum members, and a mini bus to drive us home and pick us up to retrieve our beloved cars from the impound yard. By the way I only have a XR6 n/a, I know its a turbo site, or once was but hey you guys are the best guys around, I know this from my experience on another forum and club, Goldie knows what I mean. And by far you guys are the better, I have ben on 1 QLD cruise and I found everyone to be very approachable, and I was glad to meet a N/A brother in NA thunder, oneday the pair of us will line all you turbos up on the quater with our supercharged beasts and blow you all away. P.S. NA THUNDER 1 question has your XR run better since your crash, since mine a month ago, it seems to be more responsive under throttle, and the accident didn't even hurt the engine, maybe the jolt woke the sleeping giant with in my N/A'd Bonnet. Nice thread guys , I can't believe I am nearly at 150 posts, WOW time flies when you argue alot. LOL

    11) The Word HOLDEN, or RICK KELLY
  15. Go the FALKEN tyres , been running strong for nearly 10000k and they are better then the dunlop could ever be, love em to death.
  16. personally I don't call them anything, I just piss on em....
  17. mY OPINION ON mURPHY IS NOW CHANGING, Maybe he should have verbally bashed his team mate for riding the ass of Ambrose when he was a lap down, after all he stuffed the race for Bowe, Ingall and Bright what next, is he going to ride the ass of Murphy and that's ok when Murphy hits the brakes suddenly coz skaifes nose fell off on the track in front of him. Ambrose is a true champion on and off the track, I think he handles all situations with the utmost professionalism. Oh and maybe SBR should unleash their ultimate verbal weapon in RUSSEL INGALL, I reackon he would whoop all those wankers in a Debate. He is a f*&%en legend when it comes to verbal bashing.
  18. I got 1.2 Mbps, not bad for cable in brisbane, above the average anyway. Although at Midnight I can download at about 3Mbps

Macka r u saying that if I wait and get a SC off you down the track I will get a bonnet shaker too..... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmdribblllllle. Cool if can. Anyway, I can't see why you shouldn't macka. I mean I love SC's so why shouldn't I be able to get 1. Anyway I am sure there is a way to stump an insurance company on this one, I'll get my father to talk to his Lawyer friend. My father used to work in the insurance game, and his mate is a very very successful lawyer in one of the largest law firms. I am sure there is a loop hole there somewhere for use to exploit. Anyway Macka PM anyother info you can provide for me dude. I would be holding out for your project completeion now.
  20. Because Mark Skaife has all of holdens money with his overrated and over payed salary.
  21. Unfortunately it was a shared conversation, so it ain't written any where or recorded, but he drives a motorbike, so I don't think he was saying it to be biased, just sh*tty at all the carnage on the roads, and that one manufacturer seems to neglect safety more so than the other. Hey NO car is perfect, at high speed any car can kill, but normal people ain't buying ferrari's to put their family in. From what I recall it had something to do with the reinforced firewall and stuff like that. But like I said the only reason the mrs let me buy mine was because of this conversation.

here is the link: http://www.capa.com.au/kits_ford.htm maybe it was because I showed him a black and white print out, doesn't look to bad now that I see it again in colour.
  23. YEah sucked me in too.... about the rust anyway, that's funny.. So what are you going to do about your wife. Do you think its one of your so called friends or even your Father. dear dear I had to think how hurt you must be.
  24. sbr79 replied to macka'sxr6t's topic in General Tech
I think its great. Put me down to be a guinnea PIG, wack it under my bonnet if you like, what ever you come up with would be great. You have touched base on my futer plans. A friend saw the photo of the Vortec one last night and commented it looked very messy in there, didn't look realiable. So I might wait and see what else comes out, like what I will trial for you if you like. Oh and the reason I am interested is only because I purchased the N?A specifically to supercharge it. I love the turbo concept but I wanted to be different, and I love my superchargers. PM any interesting facts or specs you have in your head about your ideas so I can understand what you could offer when your product is developed.
  25. Absolutely fantastic. I love people who use their imagination. Looks great. And to USE FPR instead of FPV, is not exactly try hardish, but more of a case of him trying hard to do something different and not just an aftermarket mod straight off the shelf 10 other people have bought. PS. Is there anychane he can make them stickers with SBR and the insignia. Ross and the boys would be very interested I am sure. Buisiness could boom for you and your mate I am sure. JEEEEZ I would buy ten just because the look good.
