when you put these kings springs in and lower the car and also chuck a swaybar on the front, does it handle better than the stock set up. can you feel it being able to corner better or is this just for looks? thanx

is 40psi recommended on the standard 17". anyone have any ideas.

ringing them up twise during the day is a waste of time. I always do this and I am told yes they are working on it or they are soon to start working on it and this is a drop off at usually 8.30 in the morning. I then ring again and they say no issues car will be ready when you come in at 4.30pm. I then go in and they tell me all of these things are fixed and when I get back in the car most issues are still there, so you have to take it back and I just cannot be bothered. this is the usual procedure. ford have not once told me that they cannot find the problem or the issue is not there over the phone. you usually find out when you get there and then it is too late.

firstly, if you are going to spend 33k for an 03 xr6 t you are getting ripped off. similar age t's are selling privately for a lot less. 25k to 27k is the norm now. maybe you have to go to a dealer, I do not know. secondly, you seem to have some mod money $20k worth so from what I have been reading on here you could get a t to rip the doors of a typhoon and still be a daily driver thus saving you thousands. the bf typhoon I think would be out of the price range so I am assuming it is a ba you are comparing. I would get the ba t over the ba typhoon, the bf is a diff proposition as I would get the new auto with it but you are after a manual. so the t gets my vote.

2 that I can think of. 1st was the guy who came on and said that his magna vrx killed a t and everyone gave it to him instantly. I wonder if any one can get this thread up. 2nd was the new 05 sti owner who got flogged by the t and came on and had a winge about it. it turned out the guy had an edit and was a member here. there are many more of course but these two come to mind. ls1 forums also have some good threads as well.

the ford extended warranty, is that the exact same as the 3 year warranty only extended or are there other clauses? anyone know? thanx

1996 hsv senator. not a bad car. it had 40,000kms on it when I sold it. now on the t and am glad I made the choice.

no worries. try and chat to the head technician or mechanic. I was told that they put the new calipers in to stop the brake shudder but then this problem arose with the pads ratling in their shims. the mechanic siad that he could tighten the pads in their shims or something to that effect but the brake shudder may come back. I SAID DO IT!! anyway 10,000 kms later no rattle and no brake shudder either. it is just that this guy knew what he was doing so you need to get a guy who knows what he is doing.

yes I was talking to you. I asked because I had the same problem. used to drive me nuts and sounded like the front wheels were about to fall of evertime I hit anything similar to a bump. anyway, my local delaer could not fix it and I went to another dealer and they said that they knew exactly what it was. charged me $40.00 for the fix and it is still good. only rattles over major bumps now. my advice, yes there is a fix. but you have to go to the right dealer. I would look in the yellow pages and ring as many dealers as you can and ask if they know the problem. if they do, then they should be able to fix it. hope this helps.
